My wife and I live in the neighborhood and love Macello, the pastas are delicious and the service is great, the decor is beautiful.

Honestly, was pleasantly pleased with this choice. I had no prior knowledge and choose based upon reviews. Went with a large party (8 people, 4 adults and 4 teenagers) and every single person raved about the food. Had a range of pasta dishes and calzones. Would go back.

Excellent!! We were traveling from out of town for Christmas to see family. We needed a reservation on Christmas Eve. I read other reviews on this restaurant and booked it based on those reviews. I couldn't agree more ..... It was AMAZING!! Our waiter was very attentive and we didn't feel rushed even though it was Christmas Eve (we were the last ones to leave). The food was outstanding .... pizza, pasta and seafood entrees at the table. Everyone loved their food - talked about it for the rest of the trip. It definitely had an "old Italian" feel to it. It was a little loud, but everyone was in the holiday spirit. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a good Italian meal.

Had a great dinner out. Food, service, and wine/drinks were great. It's a warm vibe with 2 word burning ovens going and large painted globe lights. We had the wood grilled sea bass and pizza for dinner and a salad and stuffed artichokes to start.

Macello is amazing. I appreciate the staffs and managers kindness to me even though I have autism and their food is amazing and really good. Owner Joe is nice. Amazing Neapolitan pizza. Must come back. 10/10.

This place has excellent food from their seafood to pizza to pasta dishes! It is amazing. The grilled octopus/calamari is outstanding. Hard to do it well and they do it so well!

It took a few minutes for our waiter to acknowledge us. Once we asked a bus boy our waiter Rene came over and was pretty attentive the rest of the evening. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the food specials and portion sizes. We've dined before and the food has been excellent.

As usual the food was delicious and exquisitely prepared and served. Our server and assoc team members did an excellent job staying attuned to our needs. The only area for improvement was the restaurant was a little dark. Perhaps add little table rechargeable LED table lamps that can be turned on (reading the intriguing menu items) and off by dinners. Thanks again excellent meal!
Macello is great. Not my first time there, and it's always cosistent. We ordered pasta, fish, and dessert, and everything was excellent, from the freshness of the ingredients to the way each dish was prepared. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the ambiance made us want to stay longer.

We were looking for a new Italian restaurant and stumbled on Macello's. They have a pizza so this will be #151 of my search for the best pizza. Macello has a wood-fired pie with some of the best ingredients I have found for pizza anywhere. From the fresh sauce (they should bottle their pizza sauce), to the sausage, to the mozzerella, to the olive oil, and some of the best burrata I've ever had was truly remarkable. The dough needed work though. Crispy with no chew and all flop fell flat (check out the pillowy crust from piccolo buco and great crust from Robert's). But the ingredients make this a highly recommended pizza for me. My wife said her lamb chops were very good. The cavatelli al forno was OK, oversauced and small but OK.
