Magnolia Bakery definitely lives up to their banana pudding and other desserts, yet I cannot say the same for their beverages but then again, it is a bakery. The staff are incredibly kind but the atmosphere is quite dull and the smell is displeasing if anyone is looking to sit and chat.

Not sure I ended up with the driest banana pudding ever from here but I had to throw it away. It tastes old and dried out. There’s no pudding in my cup just stable mushed up cookies. Waste of $10

The banana pudding is just amazing. Something | guarantee that you will crave after your first visit! ( My wife and I are literally talking about our craving as we speak.) The banana pudding is cold, fresh, and fluffy. Each bite is full of flavor and you get a bite of the banana, vanilla wafers, and pudding in every spoonful. We have gone multiple times and each experience was great. They are very consistent with their products which makes this even better. My wife also got the carrot cake banana pudding and we enjoyed that as well. I will say that the carrot pudding is a little more on the sweeter side but still delicious. Haven't tried any of the baked goods but do plan on doing so on the next visit cause everything looks so good! 100% recommend!

The banana cream pie was delicious. The banana pudding had too many vanilla wafers. Nice place and location and the manager and employees were all very nice and helpful.

I paid a high price here for a tiny pot of pudding. A shame! , The flavor was very light. It wasn't the same experience as in New York in terms of flavor.

Really good coffee and pastries, my only wish was that it was bit cheaper however giving the Chicago Dire financial situation the place needs money more than I do.

The banana pudding was ok, it’s just banana pudding. Not very sweet, but it is thick. Cupcakes were not good. I got the red velvet cupcake and it had fishy flavor. The frosting was the worse part, it had zero flavor, it just tasted like whipped water. Not even a hint of sugar in the whipping cream. Coffee was mid. Very watery. The atmosphere gave off dark and dirty. The tables were dirty and they were very wobbly. They had stains and garbage on them. It was giving dirty CTA vibes. The service people were very nice. Overall, it’s a 4/10.
The crisp banana pudding was good tho.

How can a slice of cake made at a bakery be somehow more boring than a box cake from the grocery store ...
