This place is now called Tabo Ramen. It is on the seventh floor of Macy's. I got the Spicy Miso, and it exceeded expectations. The noodles were toothsome, there was a nice selection of vegetables, and the amount of miso was appropriate. I got tofu, which was soft and nicely absorbed a little broth. Only ding is that it was barely spicy, though that wasn't much of an issue for me given how the broth had a nice flavoor. Friendly service, austere atmosphere.
Like a fancy version of instant ramen. I wish the eggs were soft boiled instead of hard boiled. Broth is mediocre.

Noodles By Takashi Yagihashi is a solid downtown noodle spot. Stopped in for dinner after work, grabbed the tonkotsu ramen, spicy miso noodles, and pork gyoza. Broth was rich, noodles had that perfect chew, and everything came out fast even with a crowd. Chill vibe, good spot to reset after a long day in the Loop. Definitely hitting this again when I’m downtown.
