The food combo for lunch is value for money. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great. The food taste is average. Staff is a bit rude and tasty in taking away dishes even while you are still eating.

Food and service was 10/10. Best Indian food I’ve ever had and Meera was the sweetest server and so attentive. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the city!

Beware, if you call them to reserve you have to pay substantially for phone call, also if you have USA bundle. They are not on Open Table anymore. Doesn’t feel fair and a setup.

Honest Review – Worst Experience in Chicago

I’ve been living in Chicago for more than 10 years, and I have never had such a bad dining experience. The food at this restaurant was extremely disappointing and honestly felt unsafe to eat.
I started with samosas, which were stale, oily, and had a bad smell. They were not crisp at all—more like puri stuffed with poorly made potato bhaji. I immediately returned them and informed the manager. Even they agreed something was wrong and apologized.
Then we received our main course—within just 5 minutes, which already felt suspicious.
I had ordered:
• Chicken Biryani
• Paneer Butter Masala
• Naan
• Mango Lassi
The chicken biryani was cold, clearly not reheated properly.
The paneer butter masala was too oily, overly spicy, and lacked any real flavor.
The naan was thick, undercooked, and tasted like half-cooked white flour.
Overall, the entire meal felt stale, rushed, and not prepared with basic hygiene. The food was so bad that we tasted only a single bite and then left both the food and the restaurant.
This is my genuine experience—if you value your health and don’t want to waste your money, I strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant.
It was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in Chicago.

We order the combo/lunch specials. Definitely a bang for your buck. The flavors are good. Not the most authentic but still good.

I went with the 4+ rating as my first visit to Chicago downtown. I would say few lines if an Indian restaurant can’t cook dal makhni and butter chicken( I was served raw chicken not cooked) which I have to spit it out on my plate. tandoori paratha is unique as it’s not made up of wheat they use maida. Overall below average not recommended.
