Cost about $14 for a meal I ate maybe a 3rd of.
I recently dined at Manchu Wok in ORD Chicago Airport and had a mixed experience. Upon ordering, I was asked to choose between rice and noodles; I opted for rice. Then, I was told to pick two additional items. I chose green bean beef and spicy chicken. Unfortunately, the spicy chicken tasted more like tofu, lacking the expected texture and flavor. Additionally, the green bean beef was predominantly green beans, with very little beef. Overall, the meal was disappointing and did not meet my expectations. The servers were friendly.

The food was completely bland with no taste. Don’t be deceived by the colorful appearance of the dishes; they may look appealing but fail to deliver on flavor completely. The rice wasn't hot, and wasn't cooked completely. Additionally, the service left much to be desired. The only redeeming quality for vegetarians is the availability of tofu options. Overall, stay away from this place.

Any of the dishes that have chicken in a batter... All batter no chicken. Nice people, food not worth it. Find something else.

I made a mistake by not reading the reviews first! The food is so bad it cannot be considered Chinese food at alllllll. Noodles were bland and old. The only plus is the black pepper chicken had flavor but I’ve never seen celery in Chinese food and there was more celery than chicken.
The orange chicken was not bad but still overall terrible.

I’m not expecting Xi’an Famous Foods out of an airport food court, but this place is not very good. Maybe I got it at a particularly slow time, but the white rice was crunchy and overly soft at the same time. Noodles were smushed together indicating they sat. Chicken with mushrooms was somehow bland and overly salty at the same time. NGL wish it was a Panda Express.

Service was great. Food unfortunately was HORRIBLE. The rice was so dry. I’ve never had rice so dry in my life. Don’t get me started with the chicken. I couldn’t even tell if it was chicken or something else. The vegetables were covered in some disgusting mucus!?! I’ve never seen vegetables like that before. I am never going back to this place again, please be careful! I know that you may be in a rush, and you may be trying to get food quickly, but you will regret this greatly. Food. Waste.

I wish I had a photo to post of the food but didn’t even get that far.. I’d give zero stars if I could. First off, I was thrown off there was nobody in line- makes sense now. Asked if I was able to order a side or two of chicken and was told very rudely it was not an option. So then I offered to buy a whole “plate” (including rice or noodles w protein choice) and just say no rice or noodles and pay full price. Still a no and they were once again quite rude. After reading reviews I’m pretty glad I never got to order! Don’t waste your time or money. I prefer panda! Dodged a bullet this time. ?
