The staff is always very welcoming every time we stop in. The chilaquiles verdes always hit the spot. The Huaraches are big enough for two people. The salsa de molcajete they give with the chips is made fresh. Give this place a try!
Ordered chilaquiles that weren't bad but it had so much salsa it was more like a soup of soggy tortillas. They also charged us chips and salsa that we never asked for? Most restaurants you go to they're free and I understand if some restaurants do charge. But if you're going to charge then mention that beforehand and don't just bring them out as we're getting seated otherwise we're going to think that they're free. Other than that it's not...
This review is long overdue. I’ve been coming here since Manjares was La Condesa. Cada lugar tiene su especialidad. Since I can remember, the Carne Tampiqueña has been the most delicious platillo from here, in my opinion.

I can’t speak for other items on the menu, but I can say without hesitation, that if you come here, you have to get la tampiqueña. Make sure you get the carne gruesa, not cecina. Makes such a difference. Literally, so delicious! The enchilada...
