This is a Chicago staple & a must!! I had the grilled cheese with turkey & ice cream and everything was 10/10. Obviously the food menu was limited but hey it was something and of great quality. Looking forward to my second visit & honestly don’t know how I didn’t know about them sooner. The soup was also top notch! & this place has great nostalgic vibes! You can order to go or dine in if there are open tables. Loved the dine in experience even though we waited...
Visited a couple of times. Ordered Swiss Milk Chocolate Sundae and Raspberry Sundae. The portion is satisfying. I also tried the German Chocolate Cake, and it was nice, not too sweet, with a big portion to share, price was affordable. The shop has many dessert choices, including artisan chocolates, and also chocolate boxes that are sweet enough to give as gifts.
Had a wonderful experience at Margie's, it felt like I was in a movie and captured such nostalgic vibes. Amazing milkshake and you definitely get your money's worth. Staff was helpful figuring out how to order and pay and I loved the jukebox on each booth. Would def recommend!
