One of my favorite steak houses in Chicago. As you would expect with a fine steak house... Good food, drinks, attentive staff. The plates come out hot and meat is still sizzling when it's served. Also really like the lobster bisque here.

Everything was nice food was great my only complaint is that the web site says they have a strict upscale dress code. I saw gym shoes running shoes track suits hats. I could have dressed comfortably as well.

It was an absolutely wonderful experience. Every time I've ever dined at Mastro's was a great outing, and mothers day was no exception. My mom and grandmother had a wonderful experience. I can't thank Mastro's highly enough. And of course, the icing on the cake was they called the day after to ensure we had a great outing. I cannot recommend them highly enough, for any occasion.

The service here is amazing and so was the food! I originally had a reservation booked for 10pm but they were able to accommodate me to an earlier time last minute (9:30pm). It wasn't busy I assume because it was a weekday and very close to closing time. The kitchen closes at 10pm but once you're in there you can stay up until 11-11:30pm.Valet is a little hard to navigate out front, pay goes by the number of hours you spend in the restaurant. They have a live singer in the restaurant, a huge bar/selection of alcohols, TV's, music, and great seating/lighting. The menu is large but very basic and exactly what you'd expect from a steakhouse. The food was great. The steak was cooked perfectly and the sides complimented the steak nicely. Everything was served piping hot.

At the bar just to order butter cake- bartenders too busy to pay attention to us . Got one to take our order, not sure when cake will come out. Too many fancy drinks for the bartenders to make. It just sucks.

My wife and I are on a mission to try every statehouse in Chicago and we have food separates the good from the bad ones, but the service separates the great from the good. So Maestro’s is good. Really good.I’ve been a couple times and most recently in the private dinning room for my boys birthday. And the food was amazing (the usuals- ribeye, Mac and cheese, brussles), the ambiance was smooth. Champagne bottles everywhere and a giant square table- godfather style. But the service wasn’t all the way there especially for such. Special event. It was ok no major issues, but not the 5-star experience.

All in all, it was a great first-time experience, and we have to give it up to our amazing server, Vinny, who helped us navigate through the menu and drinks. He made it a great experience for our party celebrating 19 years of business. We were able to be seated at the corner of the bar, which worked out perfectly for our party of 5. The meals we had were excellent, and the drinks we had were incredible. The Maguro Lime Roll was probably the best roll I've ever had, and yes, this came from a "steakhouse." I would definitely go back the next time I'm in town.

Soooo, after being told Mastro's was a sister restaurant to Steak 48, I knew the atmosphere and service would be excellent. The food was good, the only reason I am giving them a four is because three of the six orders of potatoes we had were cold (garlic mashed, loaded baked and au gratin) and...this is the only restaurant Ive gone to where yhey charge for the bread! The wait staff was attentive and we loved the personalized menus! The atmosphere is nice. The reason I'm giving four stars is because the darkness made it a little difficult for those in my group who didn't have 20/20 vision to see.

Celebrated my dad's 70th birthday. Our server Tim went above and beyond to make the evening special, he was very engaging and made sure all of our dietary concerns were addressed fully and he made great suggestions to guide us through our dining experience. They made a special menu for my dad which was a very nice touch. The ambiance was comfortable and surprisingly comfortable, they had a singer who was fantastic! I strongly recommend Maestro's for all special occasions!

I came here to celebrate my partner's birthday and the experience was beyond amazing. The food and drinks were delicious. The customer service was top notch. Pricey but super worth it! We will be coming back for sure.

Lobster mash potatoes were not worth it. Chopped salad was missing ingredients. They take gratuities without permission and it clearly states on receipt that it's your decision to leave what you want.
