Meli Cafe Reviews
1. Served a burger with meat that had obviously turned. Replaced without issue with a chicken sandwich that was decent. Server didn’t bring the food over, but she smelled it when I sent it back.
2. Watch your checks. They put on a credit card processing fee without even asking how you plan to pay. It’s b.s. that they do it at all. But to put it on preemptively is criminal. I asked the server about it, and she said, “That’s something new they’re doing in Illinois.”...read full review
gnats everywhere. I couldn't finish my breakfast because I was fighting the gnats away from my food. very disappointed ☹️. my food was mediocre at best. too expensive for the condition s presented.
Food was ok but there were little black bugs everywhere. When the food came out, so did more bugs.

Meli Cafe is a Greek restaurant known for its friendly owner and staff, who provide helpful service with dish selection. The restaurant maintains a very clean environment and has a nice atmosphere, making it a great place for brunch. The menu features a variety of breakfast options, with many ingredients noted for their quality. The service is quick and aims to please, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. The restaurant offers a dedicated vegan and gluten-free menu, which is a plus for those with dietary restrictions. Standout dishes include the vegan scrambler on toast and eggs Benedict, with the latter praised for its perfect sauce. The kids' chocolate pancakes are highly recommended, considered the best ever by some customers. The lemonade is also noted as very delicious. While the food is generally good, the coffee has been described as too watery, and there are restrictions on substitutions, which can be a downside for those who want specific ingredients. Prices are on the high side, but the accommodating menu options and friendly staff make Meli Cafe a solid choice for groups, especially for vegetarians and those seeking a variety of breakfast options.
