We stopped into this corner neighborhood spot honestly to kill some time before my son's swim lesson down the street. I was so impressed with the food-- even the basic kid menu quesadilla was super tasty. I had the mole enchiladas which were excellent excellent excellent, a huge portion drenched in mole. I was close to licking the plate. !! I will 100% go again.

The atmosphere is casual but pleasant. It was 2.30 in the afternoon, so was pretty empty.
i tried this place during the ravenswood apple fest, so i haven’t been inside the restaurant. however!

even tho it was later in the day and they were on limited stock, the tacos al pastor and the breakfast burrito were fantastic. cooked fresh, right there, beautifully warm off the griddle. the owner and her boyfriend were there running the stand and they are the nicest people!

next time i’m in chicago, i will for sure try more at the physical...
Outstanding Mexican eatery w/ 3 table outdoor patio,dozen festive indoor tables & private party dining room. Run by friendly & courteous Dan & Eugenia w/ great service & very good Mexican food entrees at very reasonable prices (e.g. 3 enchilada verdes plate,rice & beans $13.95!). Free tableside chips & salsa. Freshly made tortilla chips & spicy pico de gallo for $2 more. Offer red/brownish sweet/spicy mole sauce too w/ medium depth menu. Margaritas...
