Best Mexican food in the area. Incredibly kind and welcoming staff. I always come here with out of town guests! Couldn’t recommend MNT enough.

Living in the neighborhood, we were really excited for our first visit and purposely stopped in during their happy hour. The happy hour drinks are advertised as $9 margaritas, $8 mojitos, and $5 Mexican draft beers. We were charged $24 a margarita and regular price for the other drinks. Apparently we were billed for grande mezcal margaritas when we repeatedly asked for the happy hour special. None of us asked for grande or requested mezcal, nor do we care for it. With this being our first time in, we didn’t know that the drinks we were served weren’t the happy hour option until looking closely at the bill. I contacted the restaurant and they fixed our draft beer charges but said they couldn’t get ahold of our server to find out why we were over charged $15 per each margarita. I followed up and never heard anything else. They have a cute patio and the food was great, but we were wildly overcharged.

9/19 Update: The business responded and said they can’t charge $9 for mezcal margaritas. The issue is that we *never* ordered mezcal, only the basic, happy hour margaritas, and our other basic happy hour drinks were charged incorrectly as well. The margaritas tasted like margaritas, we had no idea they served us mezcal and why.

Had a party of 30 people here and the service was fantastic. Drinks came out fast and food was hot & delicious. Adriana and the rest of the staff were super attentive to all the guests needs. We would have a party here again.

Huge ripoff. We got two tacos and a side of rice and beans. We finished the chips and salsa, and they asked if we wanted more and said sure. Then the bill was somehow 25 dollars. Apparently extra chips and salsa that they ask if you want is an extra 6-7 dollars. Food was mediocre, but now I understand why it was so empty. Will not return.

I have been coming in for the past couple months since I moved down the street. The food is fantastic and I’m always greeted with the best service. My favorite item is the chilaquiles!

The food was terrible, the margaritas wasn’t good.We saw a roach crawling behind the bar.The waitress had an attitude. I will never come back here.

We love this place! Always great service and the food is amazing. Our favorites are the Al pastor and steak. Gave the margarita flight a try this time and it did not disappoint! Extra bonus that the patio is dog friendly. Highly recommend!

I’m visiting from MI and my sisters and I wanted tacos on our last day so we found this by the place we were staying. Staff was so so nice and attentive! Food was super good. It’s one of the best taco meals we’ve ever had when comparing it to restaurants in Mexicantown (Detroit). Will be coming back!! Thank you!

Really diggin’ Mi Nueva Tierra—solid spot on Clybourn. Rolled in with my friend on a Fri night, dropped about $45 on two carne asada tacos, a heaping guac, and a margarita. Tacos were juicy, guac was creamy with just enough kick, and the margarita hit smooth. Service was friendly but a touch slow when they got busy. Chill vibe, decent prices—would totally swing back for more.

The food was delicious. Both dishes were great, but the burrito was especially amazing. Really flavorful and satisfying. The lady who served us was also very friendly, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend this place for a tasty Mexican meal!

Love love love this place. Great tacos. Best Chicken tinga I've had. Super juicy and packed with flavor. Al pastor and Baja shrimp were also really good. Solid margarita and happy hour until 7:00pm!
