Liar’s Club has some of my favorite bands on the regular, so I find myself there a lot. My band has played there too, and it’s a great experience - the room sounds good, with a solid PA system. Gary and the rest of the staff are awesome - the polar opposite of the snooty, hipper-than-thou attitude you get at some rock & roll joints. Drink prices are cheap, and parking is always pretty easy. Liar's Club is a really cool spot with a neat ambience and incredibly friendly staff. The music is great, featuring some of the best bands on the regular, and the bands always deliver a good time. They have a long bar and cocktail tables available. The bar is authentic, dark, and gritty, matching the style of the music. Customers can expect to get a beer and a shot, and parking is usually pretty easy. Drink prices are cheap, and the clientele is consistently asshole-free. The room sounds good with a solid PA system, making it a favorite music venue in Chicago. Whether you're a local or visiting, Liar's Club is a must-visit for a fun night out in the city.
