Midwest Baking Co. is the very best parts of getting Grandma's baking if Grandma is a gourmet pastry chef who specializes in gluten-free!These are absolutely delicious professional pies, cakes, and cookies, but still have the cozy individual touch of homemade baking. They will do custom orders, and the pies are almost too beautiful to eat - my favorite was my custom Thanksgiving pecan pie. The fact that I can get the raw cookie dough, so I really can have hot-from-the-oven cookies (and maybe sometimes not admit that I didn't make them from scratch), is fantastic. And, to top it all off, the owner is so kind, responsive, and just really fun to talk to. My waistline is glad that I don't live in Chicago, because I'd otherwise be a weekly customer!
Hands down, the best apple pie I’ve ever had!! The crust is buttery and the filling is not overly sweet, allowing you to enjoy the flavor of the apples. Will definitely be ordering again!! My family devoured the pie!
Picked up the cheesecake cups and they were perfect! The taste was just right - enough crunch from the graham crackers, enough fluff from the cheesecake, and the right amount of fruit for sweetness! Absolutely loved the ease of ordering and the awesome communication. Will definitely purchase more gf goodies!
We tried both the apple pie and the pumpkin pie for thanksgiving this year - both were good, and had the cutest presentation but the pumpkin pie was definitely our favorite!! The graham cracker crust was soo delicious :) Would definitely order again!
