We reserved for our anniversary and let them know it. After waiting 15 min for our table they gave us a table in a dark room in from of a column. We decided to move to the bar. At the bar the service was superb. Attentive and very friendly. Food and drinks were excellent. The send is a complimentary small dessert honoring our anniversary with note in a card. We will come back! Can't wait to try their rooftop

Our waiter, Larry, was super-helpful, especially with ordering gluten-free. The rolls were delicious, but the best thing was the black sesame mochi! I did not expect it to be that delicious.

There was a group of finance bros bragging loudly abut F*cking B*tches nearby that drew some ire from our table and others around them, but I suppose in that area its par for the course. Perhaps staff could be a little more attentive about the volume of conversations when it relates to vulgar subject matter.

The whole experience was incredible. The fish cheek nigiri in particular was the most memorable, I wish I could eat that every day. We also loved the cocktails and overall vibe. Big shout out to Jonathan F for such a great time and great service!

My Restaurant Week dinner at Miru was exceptional! From the atmosphere of the restaurant, to Maks my server, and to the quality and taste of the food, I was so happy that I chose Miru. The meal started off with a welcome sip of a delicious drink made with Japanese gin and sake. Then a lovely bowl of spiced, warm edamame and a make-your-own sushi tray with three different types of fish and sushi rice. Outstanding! I was actually somewhat full after the two starters. I ordered a refreshing cocktail called the Golden Hour also made with gin which was very refreshing. For my main, I ordered the Miso Black Cod and the Wild Mushroom Sizzling Rice. The cod was delicious but the sizzling rice is something that I will dream about and go back for time and time again! The Japanese rice pudding with mango sorbet was the perfect ending to a perfect dinner. I was a solo diner on this outing but did not feel awkward as the vibe of the restaurant is so inviting. I would highly recommend this divine restaurant to anyone and look forward to going back myself.

Great vibe. We come here a lot for dinner. The food was pretty bad this time around, but the ambiance was great as per usual. The mushroom rice was mushy in addition to the noodles being over or undercooked— not really able to tell. But our server, Matt, was amazing. I will never try the mushroom rice again. The food was a 3/10 overall.
