No food served here but I have seen people bring their food here. Drinks are reasonably priced. The patio to the back of the bar is decent. No servers. You order and pick up the drinks from the bar. It is a dive bar. City street parkingn on Halsted; $2.50 per hour.

Great neighborhood joint with nice patio space.
Mitchell’s Bar engages in blatant racism and sexism. I was ignored for 30+ minutes while other customers who arrived later were served immediately. Save your money and dignity this establishment profits from discrimination.
⭐ 1 out of 5 stars
My brother and I were at Mitchell’s and had an extremely disappointing and frankly, discriminatory experience. A white patron told my brother to get out of a seat he wasn’t even sitting in. Instead of addressing the situation fairly, the staff chose to remove us from the bar .
We were calm, respectful, and simply trying to enjoy our night. It became clear that we were being targeted .
we were treated differently from the other patrons for no valid reason. It was humiliating and completely uncalled for.
Bars should be safe and welcoming spaces for everyone, regardless of race or background. Sadly, Mitchell’s failed that basic standard. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who believes in respect, equality, or basic decency…
Avoid this place unless you fit their ‘preferred’ clientele.
Nice big back patio with bags, and darts inside

Went there for the first time for a birthday / memorial music event we really enjoyed ourselves an awesome backyard The bartender that night did a great job. We went back tonight a weeknight waited 15 minutes before the bartender even showed his face got our beers drank them waited another 15 minutes to see some girl bartender didn't seem all that interested being there. Our third beer ( that we never got) was another long wait with no bartender behind the bar and nowhere in sight? The place looks great it's clean with a great courtyard just wished
we could get a beer in some kind of timely fashion. They all seem like friendly people there but I think serving beers is not their priority?

Came in one time and the bartender was unattentive and was more worried about eating his chicken wings then taking my order
The crowd that hangs out here isn't very welcoming.
I wish I could give it a zero stars
Won't be back

Saw a comedy show randomly in the back of this place. Ended up hanging out and liked it and wasn’t packed on a Saturday night.

Definitely a spot only for locals. They aren’t about catering to new customers or expanding business.
Terrible - not worth it - don’t go

This is my favorite bar in the neighborhood. A real shot and a beer kind of place. I love to come in around 3:30 and watch Jeopardy with the locals. God bless Bridgeport.
