I’ve been craving jianbing ever since I first tried it in China for the first time last year. I’m happy to say this place did not disappoint and satisfied my craving ☺️. I recommend the hotdog and meat floss.

This brings me back to the hutongs of Beijing! Monkey King Jianbing is worth the drive up to Skokie! Every Jianbing I’ve had is delicious, with the right balance of spice. They also added Shou zhua bings, think Chinese taco, which are amazing as well! I love this place!

Amazing!!! Stopped by for a tasty, quick, healthy & fresh breakfast— a must try!! I got the chocolate bubble waffle, egg & cheese crisp cake & Thai iced tea. The service is prompt & the girl who works there is always friendly, tentative & quick. I got my fresh breakfast in under 10 mins— such a great alternative to fast food! & Such an amazing value as well, I spent $20 and was satisfied until dinner time! Can’t wait to try their matcha waffle !!

I had Jipai Jianbing and it was delicious. The staff said that the one with raw pine was the best, but since I don't like raw pine, I ate it with jianbing and have no regrets. The jianbing is so big that you will be full even if you only eat half of it. Those who are not familiar with the spice may not like it, but those who are familiar with it may enjoy the nostalgic taste. The cream fries were also delicious. The fries were clean, but it felt like they were fried in clean oil. The Shojwabing was a little disappointing, but the Jianbing and cream fries were so delicious that I want to visit again the next time I go to Chicago!
