Saw this place on Reddit and was excited to try. Good part - unexpected speak easy downstairsThe rest was all just acceptable. The service was not bad, food was okay, garlic aioli is meh. Personally felt the bao buns were hilariously cheap with one little slice of the panko zucchini… do not recommend those.Glad we checked it out and it’s not bad! But won’t be returning.Wheelchair accessibility: Not really wheel chair accessible. Small step to get in. Speak east is not accessible at all in wheel chair.

We had a private event at Moonflower and the service was impeccable. They made accommodations for us to play our own music, there was ample food (they catered for our guests) and the ambience was amazing.

This is my absolute favorite neighborhood bar. They have Aviary style cocktails at Portage Park prices and amazing culinary fare. They have the best happy hour specials, and the staff is extremely nice and accommodating. The atmosphere wins the vibe check, and their music is always on point. Not that basic top 20 ish. I hosted my birthday party at their downstairs bar, which has a totally different cocktail menu. Our guests loved the venue and said the service was top notch. The owners are great!

Drinks are good and the ambiance is cozy. Love that they have plants, but the place still stays classy. Bathroom was very clean. This is now one of my top favorite cocktail spots. Definitely worth a visit, plus drinks are very reasonable!

Spectacular experience. Loved the Tamarindo cocktail, the service was chill but attentive, and music and FOOD?! The bao buns?! Delish. The sauce on the pork belly set it apart. Not crazy prices either. Felt reasonable.

Moonflower is such a gem. I live just a min walk away and to have such a classy yet unpretentious cocktail bar so close is awesome. I love being able to quickly put a date night together or friend night out just across the street. My friends are always impressed. The vibe is also beautiful with the greenery everywhere and chill music.The Really Good Manhattan is my favorite, best manhattan I've had honestly. I also love the margarita and hot toddy. Drinks are all unique and consistently good. The food is great too, especially the most recent addition of the tahini tofu hummus appetizer with sourdough. Addictive. Happy to have Moonflower as part of the neighborhood!

This is our neighborhood bar. Love that we're just steps away from this establishment. They now have a chicken entree dish! It's really good. So as their toasted sourdough bread with tofu tahini hummus. Service can be slow when the place is getting packed but you know they are trying their best to keep up! -pics were from separate visits
