First time ordering. A very good experience all around. The takoyaki was delicious. Wasn’t sure what to expect but they were soft and flavorful. The eggplant was mixed. Not a fan of the sauce and the texture varied from slice to slice.One soft, others firm and the skin was impossible to cut and chew. The pork belly was okay. Not enough ginger flavor came through and the pieces could be cut smaller. The salads were yummy.
I just ordered from Morikawa Bento and let me just say I love the goma chicken,it’s my favorite and I also ordered gyoza & karaage they are literally really good. It was also my first time ordering food from there.And I heard that they opened another Morikawa Bento I’m also planning to order from there but,as my first time experience It’s incredible!
The Makunouchi (Unagi) is easily among the most outstanding I've ever eaten, maybe even the best. Such a delightful presentation and true to the traditional bento & Ekiben forms, where you discover hidden items as you eat & each side dish feels fresher & more delicious than the last. Feels like a very generously-portioned (in case you're doubting the price tag)...
