Great variety of food, quality products, good service, cozy environment and a lot of street parking. For us, the must try is the fried avocado, that’s something rare to find somewhere else, very original and solid portion. Also the fried chicken & pancakes offers the best of two worlds (sweet and salty). Mimosas are with fresh squeezed OJ.Overall, good option in the neighborhood.

The ambiance was so relaxing. Me & hubby did brunch & it was fantastic. I really enjoyed my stuff french toast w/ guava cream cheese, & my mango margarita was decent. This place gets a thumbs up????????

Kid-friendliness: I saw kids there with their families & was happy & being kids.

Well we will probably never visit again. Everything you see in the photo was $30. There was nothing special about the food. The staff was amazing and nice, though. They had a hard time understanding the concept of what kind of coffee we wanted and had to remake it 3 times. Every coffee we received was undrinkable. Bitter with coffee grounds swirling in it. I was a bit confused on the “brunch” part of this establishment. This spot is a hipster cafe meets chipotle..not in a good way.

Ordered for pick up "Fried chicken & Pancakes" and "home fries." The fried chicken was burnt and had too much breading. There was at least 2 times as much breading as there was chicken. The pancakes were alright and the spicy syrup that was included was good. On the other hand, the home fries had bits of rice in it. It seemed like there wasn't enough for it to be actually part of it, so I really hope that it wasn't from an old plate that was either returned or a customer didn't pick up. Overall 2 stars, wouldn't recommend. There was also no utensils or napkins included. But that doesn't matter much.

I was really excited to come here because of the one kitchen multi businesses idea, however the service was low quality. The food was okay. This place is overrated and for the gentrified community. I got the guava stuffed French toast and my partner got a breakfast burrito as well as two drinks. It was not bad but definitely not worth the wait we experienced. A place that can be skipped.

It's a nice and chill little spot for a quick bite to eat. Staff is friendly, and I enjoyed my conversation with the manager. My friend and I split the French toast and I ordered a breakfast bowl and it was good. I will definitely be back to this hidden gem.

Yet to be disappointed!!! And they have remodeled and have a beautiful inside as well as patio! Perfect for lunch, brunch, or dinner. New drinks on the menu and the staff feels like family! I love it here! It’s a great nook that won’t hurt your pockets but Will fill your belly!!!

food was absolutely delicious! Easy experience of walking in and ordering at the counter, then sitting down and getting to enjoy the spring breeze while waiting for the food to be delivered. Coffee was great and food came quickly. Definitely stopping by again.

This restaurant is for the gentrified community!!!!!! My family and I felt robbed by the prices, portions and quality we were served that are EASILY accessible in other nearby neighborhoods with better traditional flavors and are ABSOLUTELY MORE REASONABLY PRICED. This place is RIDICULOUS and on top of that its SELF SERVE.!!! For the amount I spent on basic breakfast items Id rather support another local restaurant with workers who really need the support. 4$ for skimpy side of bacon, and an overpriced breakfast sandwich thats no bigger that the size of my hand with ingredients I can purchase at the local Aldi grocery store. Not for mi gente.

I would go to nanas very often before . I went a week ago and all the service aspect of the restaurant are gone .You literally have to order at the front register as soon as you walk in . Then you have to grab your own utensils and water . Then sit down at any given table . The food was decent. However everything is given to you in a to-go container even if you dine in ! The avocado fries were also cold .The food is presented like it was bought at a vending machine . The owner then comes to your table and ask for a review of his restaurant and the changes and clearly gets bothered when mentioning the appearance of the food .“ but is the food good ??” He asked . Repeatedly. Which I replied and said that it was . However the food display and service is extremely underwhelming since the pandemic . I get he wants to cover his loss but he’s just going to lose customers with this new format. I paid over $90 for French toast . A burrito , pancakes and a bowl. The owner doesn’t care about giving the same service as before. He just cares to make back the money he lost in the pandemic . Will not be returning anytime soon .

Nana's is a Bridgeport gem. Venture down Halsted and you'll find nana on the corner serving up.some great breakfast and brunch items. The restaurant is set up like a dining hall, step up, order and sit. The Nana servers will do the rest. We ordered the special chicken and pancake, french toast and the oh so good avocado fries. They are a must have with a crunch and smooth texture in every bite. The chicken and pancake has a sweet Sriracha sauce that was a play on traditional syrup... Very creative and was devoured. No need to get fancy, the Metropolis coffee is spectacular, well balanced and flavorful. Just get a drip and ease into.your morning at Nana.

I ordered the Mexican burrito and it was very bland. I felt like I was eating a soggy paper towel wrapped in a huge tortilla. Would not recommend at all. I appreciated the free water dispenser in the restaurant but the water in it was disgusting. It tasted like old ice was used or like the container was never washed. I also ordered an apple cider cocktail and it was delicious. I was really hoping to like the food because of the location and the employees seem nice.

I hope they keep their process because it was so easy we were in and out of there in about 45 minutes, possibly half an hour. No line when we arrived on a Saturday morning, ordered our food from a very sweet and friendly cashier who took our orders and made sure we knew what they were out of. I ordered the red chilaquiles and my husband ordered the hash. We both ordered Chai with oat milk which was so good as soon as it hit my tongue it hit the spot with this lovely chilly weather we’re having. We enjoyed it our chilaquiles, we pretty much inhaled it. Definitely going back. Oh, and their bacon is worth the money. Basically $2/a piece but I do not care because it was delicious. We appreciate that their food is organic and will be coming back for the poblano chilaquiles.

Let me start off by saying, the food is overall pretty good, however everything is served in to go containers which makes me feel like I’m at a fast casual restaurant when that was not what this place was before. I was served a mimosa in a to go cup that was a small sample cup that is also used for water, paid 10 dollars for a 6 oz cup. Also ordered a side of bacon for 4 dollars that literally had 2 pieces.Again, food is decent, it’s the overall vibe and portions that are all wrong. Honestly not what I was expecting for Sunday brunch. It seems like the portions and cost has gone up tremendously since the pandemic.
