Stop using ChatGPT to respond to reviews. Literally anyone who's familiar with (and sick of) AI's terrible writing style is going to notice immediately.
I was going to leave a better one since I like the place, but seriously? Can't even be bothered to type a response to anyone so you have AI slop spit it out for you? What a shame. Imagine what other corners they're cutting.
Edit: Yeah. I'm a former customer that frequented this business. Like I said in my review, I would've left a better review in the first place if I hadn't noticed the laziness in the owners with their AI generated, slop responses. Do better.
A universal experience here is walking up expecting a quick, convenient coffee from the walk-up window—only to stand there for 10 minutes while a single drink is made, no orders are taken, and no one acknowledges you.
And like everyone else pointed out it’s overpriced

Do NOT sleep on the juniper latte! 🌲☕This is the best Chicago coffee shop for delicious brews especially this one near Logan square with a walk-up window making it the ideal spot for dog-friendly coffee runs in Chicago. 🪟 They have sweet and savory food items as well as rich flavorful coffee.

Such an adorable walk up window with excellent espresso pulls and drip.
Little bang for your buck and the coffee is horrible and in tiny quantities
Uhhh, man... Unfortunately, not that great. Was looking forward to grabbing a hot beverage or coffee before standing in line at the nearby Sugar Moon bakery. And....yea that's just not at all what I got.

0, Maybe?
Why: My beverage is, literally, like.... No joke, literally luke warm at best. Grainy/chunky. And I hate to say it but, overall probably the worst hot beverage I've had since moving to Chicago in 2023. :(
As someone with a strong culinary/hospitality background, I am pretty quick to be empathetic and give grace as I understand my standards have been conditioned to be higher than most. However, in a city like Chicago, in a neighborhood like Logan Square, I don't feel like I have to do that as often since this city is packed with so many great food and beverage options. BUT, how do you serve a fresh hot tea beverage and it's not even close to hot? Felt like that coffee you got at Starbucks and forgot to pick it up for 45 mins. Genuinely baffled. Which makes one think, are they using fresh ingredients? Do they really make your cup to order? But that's silly. It's a walk-up window. They have to be making them to order. But still, end result is that I'm not finishing this drink and will stop by another nearby coffee shop after I leave the bakery to get my fix lol.
Can't get over a freshly made hot tea beverage that isn't even close to hot and bad chunks in it. Idk. Will consider this a ~$7 fee to find out where NOT to get my coffee in the future
Service was okay. Maybe a 7/10.
First time trying coffee from this place, and I really loved it🥰 the young man that took our older was really polite and when I asked him about the flavors he had. He was really helpful. I ordered the caramel latte., cookie dough latte, and he recommended me the ham and cheese sandwich. It was really really delicious. The sauce that they put in the sandwich was super delicious. 😋 I will be back.

I've visited this coffee shop many times over the past year because of its convenient location. Unfortunately, after yet another disappointing experience, I won’t be returning.
The coffee, service, and prices have consistently let me down. I love supporting local businesses and often visit the many great coffee shops in the neighborhood. I kept giving this one another chance simply because it was convenient, especially on busy mornings. However, I just so often leave disappointed. For instance, I placed a mobile order through their website for pickup at the Logan location. I made sure to select the correct location. When I arrived, I explained I had a pickup order, and was abruptly told I had ordered to the wrong location and would need to reorder. There was no effort to clarify or assist—just a dismissive response and a quick turn away.
Honestly, I wouldn’t have minded having to reorder if someone had just taken a moment to explain the situation—especially since I had used their own website and confirmed I selected the right location. I mentioned I selected the Logan location (with the receipt on my phone) and received no response. It seems they don’t actually process mobile orders from the site, but if that’s the case, they should disable that feature rather than charging people and then acting like it's their fault. I had already been charged and did not want to be charged twice for one coffee so I just left.
This experience was just one of many where the service was cold, the coffee subpar, and the pricing hard to justify. I rarely ever leave negative reviews, but I think it’s important to share when a place consistently disappoints.
Save your money and try one of the many other excellent coffee spots in the neighborhood.

Fast and friendly service. I got Nitro and it was great, not bitter like it often is other places. Nice outdoor seating area.

Great coffee and tons of other fabulous drinks, including delicious mocktails. Try the Blackberry Matcha!! Everyone is friendly, and the atmosphere refreshing. Come for the drinks and stay for the food. Everything is fantastic.

Worst matcha ever. Still need to try the coffee I’m sure its better. Also the pastries are mid and don’t seem fresh considering the price.
