This was my first time visiting Chicago, and dining at Nellie’s Restaurant was truly a highlight of my trip. The coconut oatmeal was hands down the best breakfast I’ve had — perfectly creamy, flavorful, I also ordered the Sancho, and it did not disappoint. It was packed with flavor and cooked just right. The food reminded me so much of Puerto Rico — authentic, rich, and full of heart. It honestly brought back beautiful memories. I can’t wait to come back the next time...

This place was recommended by a colleague of mine. Me & my party had the Weekend breakfast buffet. Decent price at $25.00. Located on Division St near Western Ave in the Humboldt Park neighborhood. Good selection of Puerto Rican dishes on the menu with an omelet station as well. Maduros (Plantains), French Toast and Plantain casserole to name a few. Service was good, but we later discovered we paid the bill for another party!!🤨 I had to make another trip back to the restaurant...
