New China | Chinese is a favorite place for many to order Chinese food. The honey shrimp is better than any found in the city, and customers have never been disappointed with a random dish. The fried rice is some of the best ever had, in the most unhealthy way. The wontons in wonton soup are flavorful, with plenty of them. The shrimp fried rice is insanely flavorful, especially when piping hot. The empress chicken is so good. The food comes made-to-order, and the boxes are so heavy with SO much food. The place is an underrated hole in the wall with great customer service. Even delivery always arrives hot and fresh. However, some reviews mention food was way oversalted or drowning in grease. The pepper steak had gristly beef, the chicken was tough and over cooked, and the shrimp egg foo young was cheap on the shrimp and very salty. The Hot & Sour soup was mediocre. Two lunch specials cost $30 plus.
