I live across the street and go here often; I have never had a bad experience. From the wine shop , to the grab and go coffee & pastries, Nettare never disappoints. But, the star of the show is dinner. It is a rotating menu, and all of them have been delicious.
You need to go here!

The coffee flavors were amazing, and the food was good overall. Not a whole lot of food choices, but the egg sandwich was good as a vegetarian option. The staff was nice, but we waited for awhile to get our check and pay.

Great addition to west town coffee and pastry shops. We got the breakfast sandwich, a seasonal croissant, and two drinks. Each were so well balanced and very fresh. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic brunch, I would come back here consistently. Their pastry selection was phenomenal, and all of the other bites we had were so delicious. Also a good craft coffee selection.

Favorites were the mushroom tart, breakfast sandwich, and coffee cake. Really good potatoes and other seasonal pastries. I also tried the coffee glazed ham steak, enjoyed it but would probably just get the breakfast sandwich as my main next time.

Only reason they’re not getting 5 stars from me is the service. We were there about 2 hours, it was incredibly slow between courses and ordering and our waitress wasn’t super attentive.

Still absolutely worth checking out in my opinion, one of the better breakfasts I’ve had in the area!

My favorite spot in the city for bold, full-flavored dishes made with thoughtful ingredients. The service is excellent—they always take the time to describe each unique dish.

Amazing food and ambiance. Drinks were delicious. Recommend the chickpea fritters and the summer salad with strawberries and the Pappardelle pasta! We celebrated a birthday & the staff was extremely welcoming. We can't wait to go back.

Beautiful space, excellent food and service. Each item was creative, fresh and flavorful. The salad is one of the best salads in Chicago. The aspargus was exceptional and beautifully presented. The pasta was fantastic. The cheeses were good. We would like to see more options for non meat eaters.

We went for brunch which was fantastic. Great natural light and not super loud or packed, so made for a nice environment for birthday breakfast. My wife had the Black Walnut/Honey latte and I did the latte flight. All were fantastic and they use Metric's espresso for the coffee (also mentioned they use Hexe for some drinks as well but all local sourced). My wife had the breakfast sandwich which was better than most we have had one our cafe tour around Chicago over the last year. I had the lamb sausage breakfast sandwich which I would highly recommend. The lamb was delicious and the tomato mostarda and arugula went really well with it. Our server also recommended the breakfast potatoes which didn't disappoint — very crispy and the giardiniera aioli was fantastic. Also, pastries look great and the seasonal Financier (gooseberry) was solid. Really want to go back for dinner and very much recommend.

Nettare was an absolute treat. The food was flavorful, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. Every bite was delicious! The staff were so kind and welcoming – their warmth really added to the experience. I'll definitely be back!

Menu needs to be expanded. Not enough choices for a real lunch. Food was good but portions were small.

This was our second dining experience at Nettare which was repeated because the first was so great! The food, the service and the ambiance were all stellar. It will be on our list during our visits to Chicago. The fact that they source everything locally is an added bonus.
