Amazing food and fantastic atmosphere. We got the tasting menu as a couple, and not only were the courses delicious, they were also big portions and brought promptly. We'll definitely be coming back again!

This place is a must visit. My wife and I have been here twice and they don’t miss! Love the Chicago spin they put on a lot of their dishes. Each dish is well balanced and so flavorful and their cocktails are tasty too! Every team member we have interacted with is always knowledgeable and welcoming. There is no doubt this place will continue to get more popular and is easily one of my favorite restaurants in the city. Can’t wait to go back

Really had a wonderful meal at a place with a really cool vibe! The trout was amazing, as was the boneless leg of lamb! The fennel salad was great! Great decor.

And an interesting selection of good wines, all from Michigan! (Yes, I eas surprised that those words would even come out of my mouth - and I’m from Michigan!)

This place deserves all the 5-star ratings it gets!

One of the best spots in Chicago. Super flavorful food, great staff and beautiful restaurant. Do the chef’s table if you can. The guys are really nice and when things slow down, they’ll shoot the shit with you.

Had such a wonderful experience. Initially thought it might just be a wine and cocktail bar, given the wine shop visible from the street, and was delighted to be surprised with a beautiful restaurant in the back. Clearly a ton of attention to detail and great care has gone into this place. From the food (delicious), to the cocktails (unique, but accessible and tasty), to the menu (loved the shout out to other neighborhood establishments and all the staff), all the way down to the glassware (simple, delicate, lovely), this feels like someone’s passion project in the best way possible. Very warm and attentive staff. Wish the menu had a few more veg options, but the kitchen was gracious in making a few mods for us. Great addition to the neighborhood!

We went there last night. Everything we ate was fabulous. We had such a great time. Highly recommend it. Also steak and trout were out of the world.

Nettare is so gorgeous. I love their spa-like design. We had a very fun experience. My favorite dish was the Tarte Tatin. Service was exceptional.

Amazing dining experience that focuses on midwestern flavors. Very reasonable price and super friendly staff. Can’t recommend enough if you either grew up in the Midwest or want exposure to cuisine from this region. Definitely do the tasting menu and the wine pairing!

If you are looking to try the authentic High Level Chicago dining experience. Nettare is the place to visit. This is the place where you get everything cooked from Scratch by real Cooks that actually taste their food before sending it out. The beverages are also outstanding and will have something for everyone, even if you don’t drink alcohol. The atmosphere is very warm and the setting is beautiful with every little detail being elevated. I loved the plants and a lot of windows which made the place feel connected to nature. All dishes came out on time and were very tasty. You gotta Finish your Meal with the Apple Pie.

Our dinner at Nettare was not just spectacular, it was magical. From drinks to starters and then to main dishes. Our dinner was timed perfectly, nobody rushed us and we always felt like there was a warm atmosphere. My favorite drink was the Oaxacan cocktail which came with a toasted marshmallow on top (seriously this blew my *** off) try it if you like Mezcal. The Burger was insane as well, and apparently it changes every Wednesday. I will actually come back to try another version of that burger. Pork loin was also out of this world. I highly suggest, this is a real deal.

$100 for 4 drinks and they add a 20% service fee that is not on the menu or said before ordering. You only find out when you get your check.

There were 3 of us and we decided on a sharing menu to get a chance to try multiple dishes. We had 4 starters Latjes the wonderful focaccia bread with chili butter, mushroom pate, Parmesan duck confit with apple fennel salad. We didn’t order wines except for one glass of house Cabernet to accompany the marinated skirt steak (cooked to perfection!) as we were unfamiliar with their Michigan sourced varietals and had cocktails instead. The cocktails were all appreciated and two of our party had a second. I particularly enjoyed the Rye Manhattan, perfectly assembled garnished with chocolate infused cherry. We also shared the baked trout with an unusual but delicious and generous ber Blanc sauce with lardons or crisp ham bits onions and finely diced potato? We continually asked for more of the wonderful focaccia bread which is baked fresh daily there. Even though we didn’t have much room left, we had the pumpkin spiced homemade ice cream and one of us had the strawberry cheese cake ice cream. Wonderful and entertaining menu choices and we recommend sharing. We will look forward to another visit

Came here a few weeks ago for the first time. The atmosphere is lovely and thoughtful - lots of plants, cohesive decor, great volume for conversation. Table service was exceptional throughout.

Disappointingly, the food was memorable for the wrong reasons. The green beans and the eggplant dish were charred, salty, and oily. Even the appetizer bread was badly burnt. Salad was soggy. I did enjoy the side of radish butter that came with the bread. It was all quite expensive, but not satisfying.

This place has the heart of a wonderful little speakeasy - I would go back again, but only for the cocktails and the vibes (or a new menu, tbd).

Vegetarian options: We tried the green beans, the eggplant, and the salad - not a top spot for vegetarian cooking, unfortunately.
