As I sit here watching Ch5 news I see that The New Pine Valley restaurant is closing... What a memory I pray the owners see my testimony ... I'm soon to be 64yrs old...I was born on the westside of Chicago... I lived in an apartment building directly across from William Penn Elementary which I attended in the 60's, the bldg has long been demolished... along with the Marcy-Newberry center in the 1500 of south Springfield. What can I say I expected the smallest burger for their special. Nope regular sized burgers. They were definitely really good I will be back. I ate both of them before I could take a picture. But just know they were good. I got them on toast. Also, if you don't eat pork this not the place for you. The pork sausage and burgers are cooked on the same grill.

Pine Valley cheeseburgers are so delicious, but sometimes the burgers aren't completed with everything. Today I bought 4 burgers, an when I got home none of them had any lettuce on them. A burger with everything means everything! Can't have a complete burger without lettuce. Other than that, it was good.
