In a time where ice is attacking our city, not accepting cash is a micro aggression against the immigrant community. From all the flyers, and the act of passing out whistles, I’m surprised to see this cafe have policies so out of alignment with their apparent values. Values are most important when they are inconvenient.

Most staff are unhelpful and dismissive. I’ve been here a few times and been to their stall at the farmers market and outside of one person at the register being kind, everyone else I’ve interacted with is rude and unfriendly. I’ve been to other coffee shops where you feel welcome, this one is not one of them.

It's getting better but it's still a shell of what it used to be. It's always too cold and the food portions are getting smaller and smaller over time. They are regularly out of ingredients for dishes.
