The banh mi was so fresh and delicious! We also tried the heo quay and ended up buying 2lb to bring more home. Phenomenal crispy skin roasted pork. Fat melted off, tender meat, amazingly crispy skin. My mouth is watering as I write this review.

One of my favorite Vietnamese sandwich places in the city. I have never been this impressed by a sandwich. The bread makes a big difference. I am pretty sure they make the bread in the house. It’s so fresh and crispy.

The sugarcane shrimp is my absolute favorite and so is their honey sausage. I have been recommending this place to so many of my friends. I wish they update the inside just a bit so it looks more inviting to new people. But once you try them and know it’s good, you want to come back for more for sure.

I really like their roasted duck and roasted pork. It’s so that good that I dream about it too. I would get mad at other places because it wasn’t as good as this place. The uncle is super nice too.

This bakery is truly my favorite spot! Everything is always fresh, beautifully made, and full of flavor. The staff are welcoming and attentive, which makes every visit a pleasure. I'm not too familiar with this type of food. When I first came to this place I decided to take a chance on the lemon grass chicken & this is my 2nd time going here to order the lemon grass chicken. Its so good & I'm looking forward to trying other options in their menu in the near future

First bánh mì I've had in Chicago and it was quite good! I got the grilled pork and it was comparable to Houston bánh mìs with generous portions and great flavor. Bread was also good. It was honestly a perfect beach meal - highly recommend grabbing one before a beach day at Montrose.

Didn't get a chance to get the vịt quay or heo quay but both looked delicious - will definitely have to come back and get them. Overall a pretty authentic Viet place in Chi and hidden gem in Argyle!

Adorable and intimate Vietnamese deli/market. I picked up a lemongrass chicken sandwich on my way to the beach and it was the highlight of my outing. The veggies were crisp and fresh, the chicken moist and flavorful, and the bread very soft. Best of all, only $9 for a sandwich! They also have fresh fruit smoothies, Vietnamese coffee, and other small bites and appetizers in fridges off to the side. This would be the perfect place to pick up some food and refreshing drinks before heading to the beach.
