Love this place, great to work from during the week and fantastic music on the weekends. And its the best patio in Albany Park! You can bring in your own food and the drinks are wonderful. 10/10.

Had a lovely chat with the owner, who made me a fantastic espresso martini. It's a comfortable spot with a spacious patio!

Cool spot with a lively atmosphere, but a terrible place to get a coffee in the evening or at night. If you’re not sitting at the bar, you’ll get no service

Bartender seemed pretty annoyed we were there at 7 on a Thursday. They allegedly were out of several ingredients when trying to order a drink. I asked for a long island (after drinking one of their crafted drinks) and he said that he could make one but that I didn't want him to. Second bartender that came on at the end was great, though.

Place is ok. Very small. Hole in the wall vibes. Good music when I've been there since they have a DJ! Drinks are good too.

If you're looking for a cozy hang out, on a cold evening, Nighthawk has some of the best dim lit vibes in the city. With a decent selection of spirits and a cocktail list, I love coming here to just enjoy the night. It's a huge bonus if Kristina, Sam, or Juan are tending the bar. Their booths are perfect for a group of 4 and they have a couple tables up front as well.

A great neighborhood dive bar with delicious cocktails, and friendly atmosphere. A great community hang out spot! Shout out to Danny who makes a great drink.

Cool a$$ bar!!! A Dive-ish bar that makes a great cocktail list, serve espresso all night and has live music. There’s a lot of vibes here.

You could be a wook bopping to drum and bass in the back patio, all the while having a romantic drink with a date here and it all works.

Bravo ??????

There’s no food but if there was it’d be a 5. Maybe there is. I don’t know, to be fair.

Cute neighborhood area with reasonable priced drinks. The night I went it said online that they close at 2am but the bartender said they close at 12pm, which is a shame. Would come back sometime if I'm in the neighborhood.

Great spot that actually got me drinking cocktails. Their mixologist is inspired in his work. Laroy, Lolly, Sam, Juan, etc., are wonderful bartenders. (Sorry for misspellings and names I forgot.) They have a nice outside seating area, and allow food to be brought in or delivered. There’s also a great sandwich shop, WannaSub?, that recently opened next door which stays open pretty late.

Kid-friendliness: As long as they don’t sit at the bar, but that’s not Nighhawk’s fault.

This bar was fantastic, with a great back patio. The drinks were both delicious and reasonably priced. The exceptional service from the bartender alone made it worth every cent. Conveniently located near the Brown Line stop in Albany Park, it’s a hidden gem. Judging by the photos, they also serve impressive coffee—something I’m eager to try on my next visit.
