Bad vibe I don’t get the hype. Weird layout and long wait for bad drinks

They make the best crafted cocktails and the most inventive zero proof cocktails in the city. Bring back the zero proof rum daiquiri!

Tucked away in neighborhood of Andersonville, this place offers friendly service and a vintage, romantic vibe.

I love this bar. I was trying to think of the last time I loved a bar this much- I had to think all the way back to Matchbox - another Chicago classic. The cocktail menu is creative and the drinks are yummy. I can’t stop at just one (so thankful for Uber). The vibe is chill and everyone is so friendly. I can come alone or with a group and always end up having a blast. I recommend it highly!!!!

Nobody’s darling is one of the best cocktail places in the area. I ended up going with one of their signature cocktails as well as one of their thc drinks and they were both delicious! Service and menu were superb and as a first timer, the experience only made me come back in the future. There are so many cocktail options as well as non-alcoholic options. It’s a must visit when you’re in Andersonville!

This place is the best!!! Such an inclusive and welcoming spot for all types of people. I so appreciate how thoughtful they are and considerate to their neighbors on this quiet block. We are lucky to have them!!

Nobody’s Darling is a wonderful gem of a bar! Nothing beats a thoughtfully crafted delicious cocktail sipped al fresco on a warm summer night, while talking and laughing with other patrons who soon feel like old friends. An absolute must!

We were overcharged in multiple ways and the whole experience was a complete disaster.

First, we forgot to close our tab, and were hit with a 20% “abandoned tab fee” on TOP of a 20% tip which was calculated after the fee. So our $58 drink total became $90. Then we were charged $48—for an entirely separate order after we had already left. Over the next few days, my card was charged four times: $30, $45, $90, and $30.

No one returned my calls for days. My partner finally emailed and got a response. The owner admitted their system was a mess, promised to refund the extra order and random charges, and even said she'd refund our entire order because of how badly they screwed up. In the process, she also claimed that she accidentally refunded drinks we bought months ago which we never asked for.

In the end, the random order was refunded, but not the months-old order (maybe they sent that refund to different person’s card?) and definitely not the full tab. Instead, we got $25 back, not what was promised. The owner said she’d follow up but didn’t. When my partner followed up, the other owner stepped in and told her that they already did what they said. She also accused us of bullying for following up with what they offered.

As a queer POC couple, it sucks to call out an LGBTQ-owned bar, but this was unacceptable. Their money system is chaotic and their communication is hostile. As other reviewers have noticed, watch your card if you go!

I ordered two cocktails and a beer for my friends. The bartender handed me a card reader to pay, and it was defaulted to a 25% tip, which I gladly paid. What weirded me out once I got to the table is that the amount seemed low, so I checked my card and idk what she put as the total amount for the bill, but I was charged $30 for drinks and $22.38 for tip, like what? When confronted, she said that there is nothing that she can do but she can provide a phone number for the manager or another drink or two? Like, cmon, clearly sketchy and intentional practice given that it’s not the first comment about bartenders helping themselves with the tip. Take your friends and money somewhere else.

The drinks are absolutely amazing!! I think we tried maybe 10 different ones and they were ALL so delicious and well made. Some of the best I've had.

Nobody's Darling! Just go! Go right now! This wonderful black and woman owned bar is something I wish I could take home with me. This establishment is a gem in all of the most positive ways. Ranging from the music selection throughout any decade to POC (People of Color) and woman beverages they offer, including non alcoholic to low alcohol beverages and the delightful staff! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone of the community looking for a great time out in Chicago. It's accessible transportation wise. The pricing is incredible for this day and age to go out and have a drink or 10.
