I ordered two cocktails and a beer for my friends. The bartender handed me a card reader to pay, and it was defaulted to a 25% tip, which I gladly paid. What weirded me out once I got to the table is that the amount seemed low, so I checked my card and idk what she put as the total amount for the bill, but I was charged $30 for drinks and $22.38 for tip, like what? When confronted, she said that there is nothing that she can do but she can provide a phone number for the manager or another drink or two? Like, cmon, clearly sketchy and intentional practice given that it’s not the first comment about bartenders helping themselves with the tip. Take your friends and money somewhere else.

Nobody's Darling! Just go! Go right now! This wonderful black and woman owned bar is something I wish I could take home with me. This establishment is a gem in all of the most positive ways. Ranging from the music selection throughout any decade to POC (People of Color) and woman beverages they offer, including non alcoholic to low alcohol beverages and the delightful staff! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone of the community looking for a great time out in Chicago. It's accessible transportation wise. The pricing is incredible for this day and age to go out and have a drink or 10.

We found out about this bar from an article about the only lesbian bars in Chicago. Then I was driving around Chicago and saw it. So, we decided to check it out.
It had such a cool vibe. Two bars. One was open at the time we were there since it was early. Woman forward with the decorations. Really good music with genre variety.
The drink selection was good with nods to woman and POC owned companies. Would definitely go back!
Parking: It’s located in a Chicago neighborhood. So, it’s probably best to walk, bike, or take a ride share there.

I was in town for a conference and went out of my way to visit. They close at 11 on Sundays. I got there a little after 10 and there were two groups of people there.
One bartender was completely engulfed in conversation with one group. The other one was just cleaning and refused to even acknowledge me?? I was sitting RIGHT in front of her. At some point we made .5 seconds of eye contact and at that point I wasn’t even comfortable giving this place my money.
So yeah. Very rude and unwelcoming. I honestly think the community deserves better than this. I’m
