I'm a bit of a Detroit Style aficionado (I'm a professional chef that owned a Detroit Style Pizza place) and this is the real deal. Perfect caramelization on the edges. Love the sauce. They have Vernors and Faygo. We ordered take out and everything was great. My wife isn't the biggest fan of tomatoes or sauce, so I asked for sauce only on one side and the obliged. We loved the chubbies. You have to order some chubbies. Million stars.
My brother is visiting from out of town and just told me he didn’t think we’d ever have to order Chicago style pizza again. I’m shocked because Pequod’s has historically been a required meal when he visits. We ordered the Detroit style square pizza and absolutely love the crust caramelization.

I just had lunch here today. The Detroit Style Pizza and salad delicious! All ingredients were fresh, their house made dressings were great. Nice, comfortable, clean environment.Entrance and bathroom are handicapped accessible. Staff was eager to please, and didn’t seem to mind that we talked for 2 hours. I will definitely go back, or order delivery. Try them out!
