One of our favorite meals in Chicago. The fresh pasta was incredible, truly the standout of the night. The whole place felt so fun and cozy with all the Halloween decorations and little details, they really go all in. We had great service and such a beautiful evening overall. Would absolutely recommend.

Really disappointed in the food this past visit. Went back in 2020 and had a fantastic meal. I ordered the cacio e pepe and it was basically buttered spaghetti. Good service but all of the food was just very bland

My husband and I visited this restaurant tonight and had a very disappointing experience with the seating process. When we arrived, we asked the hostesses if we could sit outside. They told us it would be about a 30-minute wait, and that they would come get us at the bar when the table was ready.
We waited patiently, but after a while we noticed that other guests were arriving after us and being seated right away. My husband went to check to touch base with the hostesses , and it became clear they had completely forgotten about us. To make it worse, they then told us that we actually couldn’t sit outside anymore, even though that’s what we were promised from the beginning.
Instead, we were offered an indoor corner table — which defeated the whole purpose of choosing this restaurant, since we came specifically for the outdoor seating.
The issue isn’t just the wait; it’s being given false expectations, being overlooked, and then being left with no real choice after already investing so much time. Guests deserve honesty and proper communication, and unfortunately that didn’t happen tonight.

Food is great here, but make sure to check your receipt against your credit card statements. Whoever enters tips at the restaurant put more tip on my card than what I had signed for. I’m sure not everyone is dishonest, but not a healthy practice to have your staff overcharging customers.

The pasta was not cooked all the way and hard, and when packaging the pizza slices they folded them and pizza could have been much crispier. Did not love the crisp basil leaves would have preferred them softer. The highlight was the Parmesan fries
Like always it was a great experience, brought my sister that arrived to Chicago for a visit from California and she loved everything. Thank you for never disappointing! :)

I was a bit disappointed that when I made my reservation, the app told me a happy hour would be happening while I was there. Upon sitting down we were told it was only at the bar and not given the opportunity to move there. The food was very tasty!

Edit: It's been 6 months since my original review. We came in tonight, and, while the service is still fantastic, the pizza was horrendously bad. Between very bad sauce, and bizarrely cristalized basil, it was a major disappointment. We will try again one day.
