This is one of Chicago’s hidden gems. Nori and Wasabi is ALWAYS high quality food, reasonably priced, and has an extremely welcoming staff. It’s one of my favorite things to get for a week night dinner. Can’t recommend coming here enough.

This is my FAVORITE sushi in Chicago. I’m a vegetarian and these are by far and away the best veggie rolls I’ve ever had!! The green giant, vegetable roll, and the forget me not roll (my personal fave) are all mouth wateringly incredible!!! I always get the veggie gyoza which no restaurants ever have (usually only meat options) and they’re to die for!! The noodle dishes are excellent as well. The owners are so warm, friendly, and welcoming to every customer that walks in the door. They remember my order every time, down to the little substitutions and side of spicy mayo. I’ve personally seen the owner help customers decide what to get based on what they’ve ordered/liked in the past. The owner’s memory is UNPARALLELED! Dining in is always a delightful experience with a lovely atmosphere, but take out/delivery is super convenient and affordable as well. Honestly, I’ve never heard anyone say anything bad about this place. I’ve recommended it to so many friends and every time people literally thank me for bringing it into their lives. If you haven’t tried Nori & Wasabi yet, you’re missing out!!!
Vegetarian options: There are more veggie sushi roll options than basically any place in Chicago and they are ALL delicious. Most places have basic options like just avo or just cucumber, but they have clearly out in the time to think of incredible veggie combinations that are so delicious. This place has actually changed how I feel about sushi as a vegetarian. I used to think sushi was bad because every roll I got was so basic but now I literally CRAVE sushi and it’s all because of their inventive veggie rolls.

This place absolutely gets it. No longer do you have to go spend hundreds of dollars on low quality fish for an overplayed dining experience. The quality at Nori and Wasabi is the best you can find in the area. Hands down.
