We tried a few things and shared them. Ribs were outstanding they fell right off the bone. Fried chiciken was so fresh and hot! Also, great tasting! Buffalo chicken wrap was huge and delicious. We brought home leftovers! Too good ! We will be back!
The only thing good here was the coleslaw. The website says “fresh cut fries”, but they are definitely not. Tastes just like Wendy’s. The chicken is inedible. Super salty, breading is chewy. I have had better chicken in a frozen dinner.
Absolutely love the food here! The Buffalo Chicken Wrap is amazing. It is perfectly spicy and every bite was perfect.I will have to say my go to item is the Chicken Tortilla soup. It is creamy and has a great kick and fills me up! I love that I am so close to here and get the chance to have it when I have a chance for a lunch break.Highly recommend going here when you can!
I ordered the Chicago fried chicken sandwich with no tomatoes, no pickles, and no lettuce. So you may be wondering what I think about my plain order—I am completely blown away. This is the first time a chicken sandwich made me want to spread the word as fast as possible. And being able to dip the sandwich in the included sauces just brings that extra flavor in so wellI chose this restaurant for delievery with no prior experience — and it left a powerful first impression.I am looking forward to ordering more meals in the future.
Very impressed with this place! We ordered a two piece chicken meal with a side of cheesy potatoes and also a half slab of ribs. The chicken skin had a nice crunch and the meat was juicy and flavorful. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and had a good smoky flavor and the sauce was sweet yet savory.I am also a lover of mustard bbq sauce and the mustard bbq sauce here is the best I've ever had. Can't wait to return to try the chicken sandwich and burger!Update: Came back the next weekend and tried the Chicago Fried Chicken Sandwich and Chicken Tortilla Soup! 10/10 for both!
Called in a last minute order because we were in the mood for a good chicken sandwich. First time trying this place and definitely won’t be the last. Great chicken sandwich, but the tenders were the best we have ever had. Huge size and absolutely delicious. Homemade bbq sauce was also great. Very friendly service coupled with awesome food!
Kid-friendliness: Chicken love the nuggets.
These baby back ribs are an actual hidden gem in Chicago because they’re literal meat candy. First off, the chicken sandwiches and the fried chicken had a good crunch, the chicken was juicy, but it wasn’t unique enough for me to say I would order it again. I think they’d be a hit if it was tossed in some sauce or maybe a lemon pepper dry rub. Onto the reasons why I would come back, the fire cracker rib bites were delicious and the fries were crispy. The baby back ribs are absolutely killer here, I love the sweet and Smokey dynamic. For a side I recommend the cheesy potatoes which were solid, and the dessert here I suggest trying Peach Cobbler cheesecake. Staff are super friendly!
Randomly found this spot and I’m glad I did. The staff is welcoming and kind. I ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich with a side of Pit Beans. Both were absolutely delicious. ? 5/5 experience
Ridiculously good fried chicken. The only thing I didn't like was it made me realize I don't have the vocabulary to describe how damn delicious this food is.Perfectly seasoned, hot, plump, crispy, juicy, amazing bites. If you've had North Branch Fried Chicken, you'll know what I mean. I didn't even get close to doing them justice. Damn.Get there. You'll be disappointed you didn't get it in your dinner rotation sooner.
Really enjoyed my fried chicken sandwich from here, but the side of potatoes I got were just okay. I’d choose something else were I to go again. The food came out fresh and hot.

Service was great, food was amazingly good. The chicken sandwich was delicious but the fried chicken was incredible. Probably the crispiest chicken I've ever had.
Absolutely powerhouse of a fried chicken sandwich, but don’t sleep on the sides either!I got the original fried chicken sandwich and unlike other establishments it actually has lettuce, tomato, and pickle, with mayo as well. Bun was soft, chicken was juicy, and for such an easy concept it’s kind of a wonder so many places mess it up - but not North Branch. The sauces were very good, the mustard was dark, vinegary, and very flavorful while the BBQ was more sweet than spicy it did hit the spot. The slaw was very good, cold, creamy, and crunchy. The cheesy potatoes were also super good, they’re like steamed and the heat melts the cheese on top.Very little wait time for me, like 6 minutes during lunch hour, which is fantastic.Overall, I strongly recommend North Branch Fried Chicken!
This is some of the best fried chicken in the city! Made to order, this was hot and juicy all in one bite. The breading was not too heavy but just right for that perfect crunch, but was not greasy. The sauces complimented the chicken. Also the cole slaw side was creamy and slightly sweet, definitely one of the best slaw ive had. Looking forward to trying their chicken sandwiches in near future!
Love this place! Definitely one of my favorite local spots. Everything I’ve had is delicious: fried chicken sandwich, pulled chicken tacos, fries, chicken tenders, buffalo chicken wrap, etc. North Branch Fried Chicken is a treasure.
My only regret was not coming here sooner. I've had this place bookmarked for awhile now and this place is just down the road from where I'm at. The place is somewhat unassuming, but look for the blue building, located just across the street from the Gladstone Park Metra train station. They mention that you can park in the parking lot of the John's Import Foods lot, right on Austin and Northwest Highway, but there was also plenty of street parking right off of Northwest Highway.North Branch Fried Chicken is a great place offering friendly service and just damn good fried chicken. The format is you go to the front counter, order, and then they bring the food out to you. The overall ambiance of the place was clean and simple. They had a TV showcasing the NHL Awards on that random night I went, and Red Hot Chilli Peppers playing on their speaker.I ordered the "Chicago Fried Chicken" sandwich, which consisted of mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickle, and of course, a buttermilk fried chicken cooked to perfection. The crisp of the chicken was absolutely perfect and the overall sandwich was top-notch. The sandwich came with one side, and I went with their cheesy potato, which was a big portion. It was cheesy and the potato was cooked perfectly, and was in the perfect sized bites. Definitely give this side a try, if you haven't already.Food was good, staff was good, and overall dining experience was fantastic. Highly recommended!BATHROOM REVIEW: Located down the hallway, past the kitchen, the bathroom consisted of a urinal and toilet. Sink was clean and functional, and overall pleasant. Sit or squat? Sit!
