This place does a lot more and take out and delivery that it does sit down. So don't let the fact that it doesn't seem like a bunch of people are in there fool you, the place is excellent! This is one of the most reasonably priced places you can get a ton of food! If you haven't had soup dumplings before you've got to! The staff is always in a good mood and ready to help! Everything I've had on the menu has been amazing! If you're looking for a simple noodle dish, or something elaborate, this place has everything! On a budget night when you're not interested in cooking but don't want to break the bank, put this on the list!

Food is salty as others mentioned, but the biggest problem I encountered was multiple pieces of hair found in a soup dish. Not one, or two but multiple. The positive with this restaurant is the portion is big and server is friendly. I wouldn’t recommend this place due to lack of food hygiene.

Northern taste is our favorite Szechuan comfort food in Chicago. The dry chili chicken, cumin lamb, and green beans are some of our go-to items. We mainly do takeout, but dining in was also a good experience. The staff is efficient and friendly. This food is better than Lao Szechuan from Chinatown by a solid margin, and probably why the reviews here are better.

Went in for a take out order, the server was kind of helpful but rushed us despite the place being empty. (Although I kind of get it we look uncultured asking so many questions) we went in drawn by the price but the food was an eh.
