Oberoi's Authentic Indian Food

I ordered a vegetarian thali from this place and found a metal wire in my food. It could have injured me. I ordered from this place for the first time and never going to order again.

I am simply shocked and have absolutely no words. Not any nice words at least!

The worst Indian vegetarian dish I’ve EVER ordered in my entire life. I’m absolutely speechless.

I've been coming here for over 4 years now, the vegetarian tali and salted limeade have gotten me through many hardships. Such a gem! The food is absolutely delicious

I love this place and it’s my primary go-to since before they moved into the large space they currently occupy. The food is amazing and never disappoints and it is reasonable priced.

As the majority of their business is take-out, service is sometimes slow, but kind and helpful nonetheless.

Bathroom is clean, which is also important to me in a restaurant establishment.

Girl who works here, who's from pune Maharashtra India 🇮🇳 ,I like her service her good behavior and very innocent cute behavior, appreciate for her hardwork, and also I seen one uncle who came on table to deliver our order chicken tandoori with good attractive smile.

We were intending on going to Hema's Kitchen, which was listed at this address, however, we decided to stay and try this restaurant.

Boy are we glad we did.

Table service was gracious, unpretentious, warm. The menu offers so many options it was astounding (vegetable, beef, lamb, chichen, fish, shellfish) and reasonable prices for dinner.

We had vegetable samosa (high, huge, generous portions, medium spiced, delicious with a couple of chutney.

We enjoyed shrimp biriani > very spicy generous portion of a shared dish. We had paneer kulcha which was lovely / flaky and flavorful.

We also had lamb vindaloo and chicken tikka masala > the meat was succulent, moist and tender, flavorful and the rich gravy and potatoes > divine.

So much food we had to wrap half to take home. This place is currently BYOB, they have a generous selection of beverages.

Please give this place a try > you'll be glad you did!

I had a fantastic experience at Oberoi’s Authentic Indian Food! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly and attentive, even though the restaurant was quite busy. The ambiance was cozy, and everything from the appetizers to the main course was delicious. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for authentic Indian cuisine and great service!

Nothing was "authentic" about the food. In fact, a disgrace to Indian food. So called "Indian" restaurants running in the US should stop this! Naming your restaurant "authentic" would sure attract customers who can't tell the difference but what about honesty? Nobody cares I guess! Was visiting Chicago and after hearing there's alot of Indian restaurants I thought lets give it a shot! Spent well over worth, to get this, and also food poisoning bonus! Be careful everyone!

When I asked the girl about the order she said 5 minutes and 25 minutes later the order not ready, when I told her 25 minutes ago you told me 5 minutes she said it’s getting ready, 5 minutes later she came over with the order handing it to me without saying anything just attitude instead of saying very easy word “sorry” , I want add one more thing , after I post my review about what happened with me in the restaurant , some one called me from the restaurant and said did you add review about restaurant, I said yes , guess what he started threatening me saying if you did not remove your review right now I will call grub hub on you to make a problem for you. Can anyone imagine that?!!!! In the beginning I expected he was calling to apologize but he called me to threaten me. I have the phone number that he called me from and I took screenshot for the call duration as a prove of the time and the call and it’s very easy to make investigations about the call and the number . I have bachelorette degree and I’m software engineer but as a new immigrant has to work, yes I’m working as a delivery driver and I'm proud of myself to be working as a driver and really I wished if he was calling to apologize, this is the third time and last time I will reply on those people, YES I AM DELIVERY DRIVER , I do not know what did you mean in your reply on my review that I’m driver ?! Is this mean that you treat the delivery driver differently than the other human? Is the delivery driver less than anyone else?!! Is that mean you don’t respect us ?! Is that mean you calibrate the people based on their profession ?! Ok that’s fine , anyone will read the review and your reaction will know who you are before deciding to go to your restaurant. Again it was very easy to say sorry for the delay to say sorry for threatening me in the phone and asking me to delete my review for insulting human doing his job professionally. This is the fourth time I will reply because you insist to say something wasn’t right and accuse me falsely in your reply , it was Saturday night rush hour and you were serving only ONE TABLE and any one will swing by this restaurant will see if you are busy or not and no one ask you for balloons or celebrating me , you sarcastic comment show again who you are and all what I asked for just respect and be professional when something wrong happen you have to handle the situation in professional and respectful way not to show this attitude or threatening behaviour or discrimination towards anyone or start making fun on me because no one ever in the united state will accept your behavior and your reactions, and again ONE POLITE WORD “sorry” was enough to end this conversation but you are insisting to show everyone who you are and what will happen to them in case any conflict happens with you. How will you react with any complaint. Finally I’m not going to waste my time with you , you are too much .
