The last ocb in the Chicago area. They "temporarily closed" March 24 due to the virus shut down. The employees were like family, the food was the usual Mac n cheese roast turkey and fried chicken that we've all known since ocb came to town in 1986.The company been thru multiple bankruptcies and corporate buyouts thru the years. The new company website and Facebook page been giving updates from temporarily closed to opening soon and regulars were waiting in anticipation...
If you're going to talk smack about this place there used to be one in Rockford and it was abandoned but if I worked here for clean the bathrooms I would make it shine it's true it'll be the world's cleanest bathroom in Old Country Buffet it's hard to find that restaurant but there's only one surviving Chicago
This restaurant is doubtless one of the most pleasant place to eat in the neighborhood. Always when I come to this place I am so happy. They keep their very high standard service and the highest level of dishes they provide. You are always happy with this place. Warmly recommended.
