I was tempted to rate 5 stars. This location brought back a lot of nostalgia. Freshly deep fried, supremely salty, crunchy goodness served up with a smile. The seating area was spotless and the staff churned out orders quickly. No complaints.
The sheer scent of Long John's as I approach what I refer to as, my heaven. It's bliss with every bite of flakey crunchy ocean dipped excellence. Please open more locations.

This is the same good food you’ll remember from years past. It’s the only LJS still left within the Chicago city limits. I drive about 35 minutes to get to this place that resides within a Taco Bell. Fresh, crisp cod and tasty shrimp plus a couple of hush puppies on a platter for me.The cole slaw alone might be well worth the drive. Enjoy!
