My friend and I really enjoyed this place. Everything tasted fresh and homemade, and it reminded me of back home. Such wholesome, comforting vibes, we’ll definitely be back!
had such a great experience at this restaurant. Their homemade dolma is incredible, honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. So flavorful, fresh, and perfectly made. I highly recommend trying it!
Everything we ordered was delicious: the salad, the combo plates, the meat, the rice, all cooked so well and full of flavor. The bread was fresh and warm, and the carrot juice was surprisingly good too.
Overall, amazing food and great quality. I definitely recommend this place and will be coming back!

This place will take you back to Middle East. Just sit back and relax. Then enjoy the hummus with fresh pita bread. The meal was well prepared. Simple, well made, and delicious.

Clean and fantastic food for a very reasonable price. The Shawirma Sandwich (their version of a gyro) with slow roasted lamb and beef can be had with a pita or in a wrap. I had the wrap it was SO good. Looking forward to having it again. The meat wasn’t the standard pre packaged Gyro meat I was expecting. It’s made fresh here and was delicious and perfectly seasoned. My wife and I had the same thing and agreed it’s the best we’ve had.

This place is excellent. Falafel is delicious, hummus has a nice zing to it, and everything else is on point. Owners are lovely people. And on top of all that the prices are very reasonable.

Had lunch at Old Jerusalem this week and spent around $25 for two dishes and drinks. I grabbed the lamb shawarma plate—tender, nicely spiced—and my friend got the hummus + fresh pita. Chill indoor‑outdoor vibe, staff were laid‑back and friendly as you'd expect in the neighborhood, but our falafel was a bit under‑crispy. All in all solid spot for a casual Middle Eastern bite without breaking the bank.

Our server went out of his way to accommodate me, making my order to go all separate and teaching me how to assemble it myself tomorrow so it will be fresh! Very hospitable and though I’ve yet to try mine, my friends loved their food! Thank you guys!

Nice for a late night vegan meal after a show at Second City. Friendly service.

New to Chicago, and I really wanted to like this place. However, it's not really authentic. It's Midwest Americanized. I was hoping for the thick pita and garlickly hummus you get in Jerusalem, and sad to discover there wasn't any hot sauce or tahini on the side when I got home--nor was it offered at the restaurant. Very nice people and the hummus and falafel were fine, but I won't be making another special trip there.

Very good! The food is delicious and the staff are nice. I’m pretty sure everything is homemade (or at least that’s how it tasted). Good prices, you can get a meal for like $12 though most range in the $12-18 amount. They also have this cute patio you can sit at
