Overpriced for the quality. Corned beef hash is straight out of a can. With so many options in the neighborhood, you can skip this place.

Fantastic restaurant! The food was very tasty and our waitress was wonderful. The restaurant was so clean too. We will come back soon!

Pretty good experience.

Just about everything on the meal is the same price, with a dollar or two of each other. Essentially impossible for 3 people to leave there for less than $50.....for breakfast.

Considering how fast the food came out and how busy the restaurant was, it would appear that a lot of the food is already made in the kitchen.

The whole experience was outstanding! The food was fresh and delicious! The server was very helpful without trying to get more money out of us which was very smart because we plan on returning. It was a truly lovely visit to this Original Pancake House. I am looking forward to my next trip here. Highly recommended.

I’ve been to this pancake house many times, and this will be the last time I go. We found a spider in the syrup—it came out as we poured it over the pancakes (see picture). The staff handled it very poorly. The waiter apologized, but that was it. No manager came to speak with us or acknowledged the seriousness of the situation, which I found very offensive. I’m not even sure if it was escalated to management, because no one else checked on us or reassured us it wouldn’t happen again. The food is good, but unfortunately, after this experience, I will not be returning.

Unfortunately, the Original Pancake House is just not the same as it used to be. Growing up, this was my favorite breakfast spot (especially the Walker Bros location in Lincolnshire). However, I've only had lackluster experiences from this location since living in Chicago. My girlfriend and I got it last Sunday and both of us got terrible, hours-long food poisoning (we think it was from the pork sausage links). Sad to not have the same, unparalleled experience I had when I was younger.

Nice clean restaurant. Great food made to order. Service staff very friendly. Senior specials. Definitely recommend this place.

Great place to go for breakfast.

The food was good but the only thing I really felt uncomfortable and wouldn’t come back again is that it felt we were rushed to eat and leave . We were not even 30 minutes eating our food when we got the bill no problem but we were still eating when maybe 20 -25 minutes later the waitress asked if we needed boxes to go . Once again food is good but wont be coming back I dont want to choke on food being rushed out the door .

We had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent. The manager, Jennifer and our server, Magaly, were kind, proficient and professional. We would definitely recommend dining at this restaurant.

Yummy food but honestly nothing a good, less expensive, diner couldn’t deliver. It was hard to pick a meal because they either came with pancakes or potatoes. Had to add one or the other as a side.

I have driven past this location for years and never noticed it. We found parking right out front. We were seated immediately. The food and service were wonderful. This location adds a new dimension to The Original Pancake House experience.
