Stopped into Paisans in West Lawn—dropped about $20 on a pepperoni deep-dish and a bacon‑cheddar burger. Deep‑dish had a decent crust and melty cheese, though sauce was a bit light. Burger was solid, juicy. Staff were cool and chill, but place filled up fast. Would dig faster drink refills next time, but still a dope neighborhood spot.

Out of the many times I have visited Chicago, this was my first time to this place. We could've gone to so many joints along the way, but we chose this one. The place looked amazing but the service literally sucked. We waited over 40 minutes for our food. It was only hamburgers for crying outloud. It was cold and we had to request mayo twice. Our original waiter forgot. I've gotten homemade pizzas faster in other places and the restaurant was NOT busy. It was almost midnight and I could count the customers on one hand who were already in the middle of eating.

Had a horrible experience walking up an hour before close.
No one greeted us and the cooks and waiters just kept glancing at us for 5 minutes. We decided to leave as we assumed they were no longer taking dine in customers, only to see another group walk in right after us and get seated immediately.
I loved the food here, but this experience ruined any chances of us returning.

We were treated so well! The food was fantastic, and the manager, Mercedes, went above and beyond to make us feel at home. She was incredibly accommodating, helpful, and friendly. Her entire team was attentive and provided outstanding service. We truly appreciated the warm and welcoming atmosphere.

We came on my nephews birthday and our waiter Adam was the best!! He was very attentive, observant and kind, at one point he noticed us struggling to cut our pizza and before we had the chance to ask for a knife he brought it over! We also briefly mentioned that it was my nephews birthday and he took it upon himself to bring out dessert with a candle and sing him happy birthday which was a sweet surprise 💜💜 10000/10 I would come back just for the wonderful service, the delicious hot wings are a plus too!

First time here we came in with our family that we haven’t seen in 15 years! The pizza was phenomenal and so were the wings! We were greeted by the manager Mercedes she was super nice after the awesome hospitality from her and her staff our family can’t wait to come back!

She was very sweet and kind and actually made me want to try the place out so I picked my daughter up from school and came all the way back. The food was amazing. The customer service was outstanding Juan help me and I’ll definitely be back!
