I was walking past the store at 8:30 even though they close at and Harriet spotted me and Tina made me some of the best food I have ever had I would strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone local that may be nervous it has some of the best chicken and seasonings I have had!

Agree with the reviews that this might not be a place for those new to the food as there were neither descriptions nor prices on the menu. As others have said, everything seemed to come out priced around $20/plate regardless of it was an entree or appetizer.

As a Nigerian, this was my first time trying Ghanaian food, and l decided to go with Waakye because l have heard great things about it and wow it was delicious and the portion was great.......l was so full, l had to take off my pants to create space for the rest of the food !! My fellow Nigerians, and others please don't be hesitant to try Ghanaian food, it's very delicious 😋. Next time though l will get extra stew then also try their fufu and light soup.
