Nothing special. We ordered a few of there bakery items and everything was just ok. Their soup was pretty disappointing, expensive and barely had any meat.

This is the only place in the Chicago area, which sends me with its food to original Colombian taste. Breakfasts are delicious, fresh, and tasty...

Walked in and sat down. Waited forever. Finally someone came over only because I kept looking to see if someone was coming. We ordered coffee and busquemos. And than waited again. We finally told the guy that took our order that we were ready to order and he said someone will come over as he sat down to count the tips and I guess log it. I wanted to order the papas correadas but wanted to know what the house guiso was and didn't really get an explanation. I asked if if was with red sauce and I was told no. So I thought that it would be an oil with onions, spices and the cheese. Well it came with a red sauce!! Disappointing!! No one came to see if we needed anything or refill the water. We had to ask for it and waited yet again. Waitress was a little rude. Need to learn how to treat your customers!

Good food. Colombian bread. Nice place. BUT, NOT HYGIENIC. I went on MondaySeptember 30, 2024. The person who cleaned the floor did not wear gloves and then WITHOUT washing his hands he grabbed the food to take to the table. Then another lady swept with the broom and served food without washing her hands. That is unhygienic and disgusting. It's disgusting. How can these employees be so inconsiderate towards customers. I'm going to report them to the Cook County health agency.

Food was ok at best. I don't know if it was fair pricing as I am sitting here waiting for the waitress for quite a while. Its not that busy but I do see them busy in the kitchen. I am waiting for water since my original drink has been consumed. Is it worth the drive NO. The pastires look delicious but the bonuelo was OK. If you are local support them hopefully they improve. I would not return as there are better options in Chicago.

There is no comparison with the bakeries in New York, Miami and Houston, the baker here has a long way to go to learn how to make pandebono, almojábanas and buñuelos, and they serve coffee and hard, cold pandebonos.
