Best bread in the city! The taste is very unique and honestly I have such a hard time finding pan de acambaro that has this unique taste. My favorite is Nata flavor. If they don’t have it then I just get the original, but the price I fair. I think they should be open a bit longer honestly. But if you are looking for not good, but amazing tasting bread go here. You will not regret it.
Great little bakery with an excellent cross-section of Mexican sweet bread and cakes. Try the guayaba-filled pastries; a delicious, tangy fruit flavor that goes well with hot chocolate.
Pies oh my wonderful pies!!!Panderia Acambaro1720 W 18th St, Chicago, IL 60608.My favorites are Pecan and Key Line. My wife who is pregnant loves the coconut cream and pumpkin. Our daughter loves Smores amore, but she puts it under the broiler to get the marshmallow topping gooey. They actually make everything from scratch even the marshmallow topping. It is our favorite spot for pie. So long Bakers Square.I hope you try it and enjoy.
