Food was meh. Had to ask for butter and syrup for pancakes. No one offered to refill coffee. It is a crowded dining place, which I don't understand why. Not wow factor, just meh.

Excellent spicy Bloody Mary! The blueberry pancakes and breakfast burrito were solid brunch choices. I highly recommend this spot.

I think that the coffee here is some of the best that I’ve had and my friend says that he thinks that they have the best bacon in all of Chicago. The waitstaff is friendly and kept our water and coffee cups full. My bacon waffle was perfect. This is a really good place for brunch or breakfast. You won’t be disappointed.Vegetarian options: They have a veggie omelette, oatmeal, toast and a few other things that I didn’t pay attention to because I got the veggie omelette w/ hash browns.

Super good food and big portions. The food came out really fast, I’ve had to wait a lot longer at just the iHop across the street for food that wasn’t anywhere near as

Good food but not a good value. $5 for a fountain soda!!!
I think breakfast diners are overrated. You're essentially paying for food that you can easily make at home. However, Pancake Café is in a league of its own. The food here is incredibly tasty. The meat-lovers omelet is phenomenal, and the pancakes are just... (having a moment)... so damn good. Pancake Café is the type of place where you feel torn because you know the other 99% of the menu is just as excellent, but you can't help but stick to your favorite dish. Sorry for being overly dramatic, but as I said, breakfast diners are generally not worth it. Pancake Café is the exception to that.
Went in today with a friend because on their menu online for that location, there was a vegan option listed. Assumed I would have an option of a meal to eat. But was told when I asked the waitress that they have taken that off the menu. False advertising, and when I asked if I could have anything on the menu she said no. Asked if the hashbrowns are vegan she said yes. Hopefully they really were. Won't go again and advise you not to go if you have restrictions especially if you're vegan.Dietary restrictions: Do not go if you're vegan

This was our first time dining here…we were looking for a good restaurant in the neighborhood to have a good tasty breakfast and the Pancake Cafe did not disappoint! The restaurant is larger than it seems which is good and it appears - we were seated quickly the owners and staff are thoughtful about The ambiance andddd I was pleasantly surprised that every table had hand sanitizer on it … YES! That matters to me?. Our server Yas was friendly and efficient - good table service.Food- I had a western omelette and pancakes …cooked well and came to our table hot! My husband had the corned beef hash again it was cooked well and came to the table hot ??We will definitely be back to try other selections on the menu which has a variety of dishes to choose from ?
