“Food was good but even though I was a party of 1, they let people who signed up after me with a party of 2 and 3 go ahead of me, which I would have understood if they were giving me a smaller table. But they gave me the same size table as the ones they let go ahead of me but registered after I did. So there didn't seem to be any methodology on how they assigned tables. And I even said I didn't have a preference on inside or outside. Just first available knowing it's 48 degrees in November in Chicago.“

“This place was big and spacious, we were able to get a table right away. Service was attentive and food came out quickly. The florence benedict was delicious and the signature berry bliss was a great dish to share as a sweet treat after we all ordered a savory dish. The orange juice tasted like it was freshly squeeze. Others ordered the classic eggs benedict, Mexicana sizzling skillet and a wrap. I really like this place and totally recommend it.“

Food was plentiful and the pancakes are seriously good. Very fluffy and possibly the best I've ever had.

“Great customer service makes all the difference! I returned my order because it had pork in it and the manager came out to meet me. Turns out, I made a mistake while ordering online and it wasn’t their fault, at all. The manager discreetly addressed my mistake and graciously replaced my order for no extra charge. This, in my opinion, would be considered righting my wrong! Thank you so much!!!“

“I got the chicken skillet. It was good. Tasted great & didn’t have to add any seasonings. My partner got an omelette, bacon, sausage, grits & toast breakfast. She on the other hand had to season her food. The sausage & bacon was not drained & it was sitting in grease in the to go box. Other than that this was the only issue. Customer service is great. The prices are decent & overall it’s a nice little “hole in the wall” restaurant.“

“I got a two egg special with ham off the bone, grits and a biscuit. The ham had a weird taste that I didn't like. Maybe it was how it was prepared. The grits were really thick and bland, I had to add alot of butter and I always add sugar. The biscuit was buttery and really good.My husband got an American Skillet with pancakes and he said it was delicious. It comes with bacon, sausage, eggs, hashbrowns and cheese.It's very small so not alot of seating and there is a long line for carryout.“

“This place feels a little outdated. However, we got sat pretty quick especially for a Saturday morning. Our waitress was amazing and she was quick with getting our drinks and order, as the occasional check up and refilling our drinks.
The food is a hit or miss. The coconut chicken and waffles were not that good. Chicken was bland and over-fried. However, the eggs benedict were great. The ham was thick, the sauce was flavorful and the breakfast potatoes were seasoned well.
All in all, if you want to grab a quick bite to eat and chat , its great. But food wise its a gamble.“

The waiter was super nice and friendly and checked on us a few times to see if we needed anything. The ambiance was great, the food was fresh and a lot of it. I took my leftovers home. “My husband and I struggled to find a breakfast place worth going to but we love sunrise. He loves the banana foster and I love the Mexican omelet. We've tried a few other things on the menu which were very meh. Overall rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“The food was fresh and piping hot as the waitress brought it out to everyone in my 5-person party. I had the meatlovers skillet. The meats were cooked to my liking, no uncooked bacon, and the potatoes were fully cooked to perfection. The eggs were cheesy and blended together easily in my skillet. The pancakes were fluffy and hot with my meal. The wait was semi long for table/booth, but the food didn't disappoint.“
