Panda Express in Chicago

“Overall, Panda Express has a pretty good track record of good food and good customer service. This is pretty much the same standard that you would get at any other location, which is a good thing compared to some other businesses. Well done for staying consistent!“

“I generally don’t have any issues at this location. It’s fast food so treat it as such. The staff is nice but lack proper training which is no fault of their own, rather management. They don’t give samples anymore so I asked a simple question whether one of their entrees was sweet or savory and the answer I got was that it’s spicy. That’s great but now what I wanted to know. I repeated the question 4 times before giving up and asking someone else ha. Food quality and portioning can be a little inconsistent as well. Training fell through the cracks all around it seems. It’s not a full service restaurant so don’t come in with those expectations and you won’t be disappointed“

“I like to go with friends to this place with my highest recommendations. I go to this restaurant often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The the food there is delicious and the stuff is welcoming and cooperative. Whenever we eat in this place we have a cheerful evening. warmly recommended.“

“Sometimes they get my pick up order wrong or it’s not ready even after I have arrived 10 mins after ‘said ready time’.
I now go in because I hate getting home & disappointed.
Joseph ‘very tell guy’ is a sweetheart. Very receptive & friendly. Quick to apologize & help remedy I’ve noticed with other people that their order wasn’t there when they arrived for pick up. I’m thinking he’s a supervisor/manager? Noticed he’s very mannerly , uses pls & thx with the other employees. That’s very rare as far as I’ve come across with other places /people I interact with in the food industry.
Don’t have issues when I go in & seeing my order.“

“All I can say is that when I was out here I stopped by this Panda do get some thing to eat real quick and I been to plenty of Panda Expresses but this one here there food was delicious there orange chicken and kung pao chicken was really good and not to dry. I will most definitely be back if im out here again.“

“This is actually the best Panda Express I've ever been to. Mark is fantastic and one of the reasons I began to visit Panda Express regularly again. Last night was a disappointment, they forgot the teriyaki chicken portion for one of the Bigger Plates we ordered. We went home and noticed and I drove 15 minutes back to get the missing item. They replaced it, which was great, but unfortunately, Ana couldn't help but make a passive aggressive remark about how I didn't bring the food back. I didn't get it, what was I supposed bring back? Should I have brought back the whole order while my family waited another 30 minutes to eat? Would she have replaced the whole order or forced my family to eat a bunch of cold food?Mostly positive visits, but if you screw up, just fix the issue don't make passive aggressive remarks and make the customer feel bad for coming back to get everything they paid for.“

“The weather was very cold. I loved the watermelon water and another one was mixed. Delicious. Everything was nice the two times I visited that state we went there and we liked it.

Kid-friendliness: They have a menu and you can choose sizes for children.“

Great customer service whether it’s two or twenty people in line. They need to give her a raise because there are some seriously sorry PEs around and she holds it down!“

“I want to make sure I remember the following details about the place: the food can sit out for too long at times, old cooked food is mixed with freshly cooked items, the portions are fair, the fried rice is undercooked, condiments are not always offered, and the service was not up to par. Despite these issues, the place is generally clean and is one of the few fast-food spots that serves vegetables.“

“Kind and attentive employee
I visited this location over the weekend, expecting it to be crowded and messy due to holiday shopping. To my surprise, it was very clean, and the service was fast. The highlight of my visit was an employee, Wang, who went above and beyond. When I sat down, I realized I’d forgotten a straw, but before I even got up, Wang handed me one. He was incredibly attentive, offering napkins and straws to others and keeping the soda fountain spotless. His dedication really stood out. Kudos to Wang!“

“If you have eaten at Panda you know that the food is good, the problem here is that the cooks are very slow, but not the girls who serve you, they are very friendly but the kitchen seems very very slow to me, which is why it delays everything.“

The dining area was clean, and the service was speedy and efficient. They continuously brought out fresh food, and the manager was very pleasant. “This spot is the one I always prefer. I visit plenty of restaurants but to this restaurant I constantly return again and again. The stuff is very amicable and the cooking they serve is so good. I would always prefer to have a good dinner in this place. I highly recommend this place.“

“This Panda Express is one of the best fast food establishments I’ve ever visited. As soon as I walked in the door I received a welcoming greeting from all employees. The smell of fresh made food entered my nose and my appetite grew immensely. I walked up to see a friendly face from Yaz and Joey. Both ladies had warming smiles and were happy to take my order. Once I received my meal , I noticed everything was the perfect serving size. The smell of the orange chicken was to die for.
The dining area was up to my standards with clean floors and shiny tables. As I walked out the door the employees all gave a nice wave and wished me an amazing afternoon. My visit to this Panda Express on Damen will be an unforgettable experience.“

“It seems that this location has new staff, extremely friendly and very professional unlike before where they basically asked the customer to hurry up the order and they often messed up the orders. The food portions are good and the food tastes much better. I hope the current staff keeps managing this location.“
