Fun dive bar for the locals that we stumble across during St. Patrick's Day weekend . They had board games and drinks specials. We order at the bar but employees were going around picking up glasses and cleaning tables for new drinking patrons. $5 green beers for the win during St Patrick's day weekend.

My absolute favorite hole in the wall REAL darts. Crap pizza that is so good when drunk. I’ve never actually sat at the bar or interacted with staff cause I’m too busy beating everyone in darts

Don’t have a different opinion on possibly anything if you don’t want to be verbally attacked by both the patrons and the staff. The main bartender (I believe his name was Matt) listened to our conversation and unwarrantedly gave his opinion to the point that multiple patrons were yelling at me and my friends who were there to have a good time. Our group (consisting of 2 gay men and an ally who were sharing their love of Rent The Musical) was accused of being far-right conservatives for sharing a different MUSICAL THEATER opinion. This inflammatory confrontation, which originated from a simple disagreement, is unhealthy and dangerous. This unfortunate situation lead to call-outs of hypothetical violence coming from patrons as we tried to vacate the bar. Not to mention that when we arrived the bar was awkwardly playing a Michael Jackson documentary with no music playing. Will not return <3

After living in Logan Square for many, many years, and moving over to Lakeview, I’ve been on the hunt for a fun and chill dive bar that gives similar energy to the bars in Logan. We came on a Saturday at 5pm and had the pool table to ourselves. Friendly bartender, drink specials, and we got to play darts. I passed this bar all the time on the bus and so glad I finally stopped inside!

I recently moved to Chicago and Parrot's is already my favorite regular spot. The staff follows the golden rule, don't be an a**hole and they'll treat you like family. The food is far better than you'd expect from a neighborhood bar and trying everything on the menu has become my new life goal. As for general vibe- think flannels, pool cues, a loud jukebox, and a great time.

Parrots is one of a kind. There are few dive bars left like this, where you feel like you're in the basement of that guy you knew in high school whose parents were never home.

Dive bar with separate rooms for the bar itself and another room with a pool table and I think darts as well. Some daily specials. Weird decor that feels like a tiki bar closed and reopened as a Jimmy Buffett bar that closed and reopened as a normal neighborhood dive. Fun times.

Simply the best dive bar around with top notch food. Reasonable prices. Tracy and crew are the best.

Lady owned and awesome all around. The staff will make you feel at home and ask about the history of the place. It's truly a gem.

Reasonably-priced drinks and kitchen with seasonal specials; the pizza comes out St. Louis style & has more personality than Dominos up the street. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, can't go wrong at this corner spot.
