Yes, they offer sandwiches, baskets of chicken and fish, chicken and waffles, but they also offer burgers and impossible burgers, soups and salads, and array of sides. Most impressive is their drink menu; cocktails, beers, shots, and for the littles, milkshakes. I had their fish sandwich, which was big, fresh, tasting fish, not processed tasting and not greasy, and their hush puppies to share.
The place is spacious with plenty of family and group sitting.

Love stopping by and grabbing a bite at Parsons. Their chicken is delicious - try the grilled chicken too! I also love their sides - particularly the rice and beans and mashed potatoes. My favorite part of visiting Parson’s is the friendly, hardworking, attentive staff. Shout outs to everyone who works there; especially Lindsey, who is a kind face and soul that always makes customers feel comfortable (even if it’s like 10 degrees outside in the middle of winter!). Will return to eat again at this cozy spot.
Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian sandwich
Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly, they have a few arcade machines and the atmosphere is laid back
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible through side entrance

Five stars for taste (seriously good both for vegetarians and not) minus two stars for being cashless = perfect place unless you're unbanked or economically vulnerable. I get it, but it's just unfortunate. I sincerely hope they decide to accept legal tender again. I ate here often and will miss it.

They have Happy Hour hours advertised from 4-6pm with fries for $2. They don’t give you the receipt just your total so I was not able to see that they overcharged me for the fries until I got home. Smh.

I’ve been a few times - only for dinner - and I haven’t been disappointed. The food is always nice and hot, the service is nice and attentive, without being annoying. The drink menu is unique and super tasty. I keep coming back for the red beans and rice. Amazing comfort food that is executed very well.
Restaurants are hit or miss, ups and downs. Overall, they are doing a great job here.

Their hot chicken sandwich is always a good choice and we ordered their shrimp basket also pretty good. We shared a poutine, it was ok.
The music tends to be loud and the service ok, but overall a pleasant experience

The salad, while tasty, was incredibly small for $13– more of a side salad. It’s priced poorly especially when you consider a burger is a dollar more.

5 of 5 for everything! I love sitting outside here with my pup. Staff is incredibly friendly and always interacting with my little man. Some of the best fish in the city, and the hush puppies ??! I also appreciate the portable card machines. Makes paying the bill much more efficient.
Parking: It’s Andersonville - you may have to drive around a bit before finding parking.
Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs and outside seating.

Some of the worst service I've ever experienced. The waiter was very unwelcoming, blunt, bad at taking our order, and for some reason lied to us about there being a margarita special? We got two frozen margaritas thinking they were 2 for $12 because that's what he said. Then when it came time to pay he tells us they're $13 each... huh? He was rude when we brought this up and was talking to my boyfriend in a way I found insulting, so we just paid to get out of there. I wish I had advocated for ourselves because the tab ended up being outrageous for the products and service we received. The fried chicken sandwich was off-color and flavorless. The burger was ok. The fries and hush puppies were actually good. The whole thing cost $80 which made me gasp when I was expecting to spend more like $50. Really disappointing and negative experience here. Would not recommend.

Parson's Logan Square has been a summer favorite of ours for a number of years - great food, delicious negroni slushies and amazing neighborhood patio vibe.
Went to Parson's Andersonville today.
No patio vibe at all!
Fried fish, hushpuppies and Negroni slushy were good. Server was nice and attentive.
Slaw was disgusting.
The chicken which we came for was very disappointing - burned on outside, drumsticks pink on inside, and the litely sauced outside and moist and marinated inside which we came expecting, sadly, were totally missing. Instead, chicken was dry, burned and tasteless.

We have been going to the Logan Square location of Parson's since it opened and are big fans. We have done takeout from this location, and this was our first time eating on location. Rachel is an amazing server. We found that Parson's had to change chicken vendors, so is still clean, but no longer Amish. We noticed that the chicken didn't have the same zing as we have had for years. We were told that it depends on who is marinating. The cole slaw had too much vinegar as we were used too. The Negroni slushies are amazing as always. Great outdoor seating.

Our server was fun and professional! Great with our questions and great with the kids.
Vegetarian options: There were minimal vegetarian options but we are pescetarian so we found plenty of fish. There's also mac and cheese and their veggie club was really great. Lots of sides on the menu can be used as vegetarian options as well.
Kid-friendliness: There's an arcade game and a pinball machine and a photo booth! Very fun for the kids.
