Wonderful- from the food to the atmosphere, what a great restaurant! I have come here with my 5 year old, my family, and just me, and every time I am impressed by the service, how family friendly this place is, and how excellent the food tastes. I usually get the chiliquiles, and my son gets the kids pancakes, but they offer a large menu of choices- including fresh juices and smoothies, coffee choices, and holiday specials. We even had Christmas brunch here last year and would like to make it a tradition!

The restaurant is small, but honestly that adds to the cozy and comfy experience. Clearly a lot of locals, as I saw what I assumed is the owner hugging patrons and being called to tables. Highly recommend for a family meal- good food, great atmosphere!

The vibes are impeccable. The food always hits, the music is on point and makes ya wanna boogie while you eat, and the servers are all sweethearts!! It's the only breakfast/brunch spot my partner and I routinely go to. Highly recommend!!

Really great neighborhood spot for breakfast/brunch! TJ, Maria, and Guadalupe always make us feel good and welcome when we visit, and the kids love it there too. It’s very cozy, and the menu has lots to offer anyone. Definitely a highlight of the Square.

I went in for a basic breakfast, but I got over cooked eggs, dry bacon, sausage from a pack and uncooked hash browns.

Pastores is a true neighborhood gem! The food is exceptional, and the service is warm, friendly, professional, and always excellent! Whether I am dining alone or with friends and family, I always feel welcomed by friends and l know that we will be completely cared for. Rueban, Guadalupe, Maria, and especially TJ bring warmth and deliciousness to every moment - its truly the type of community-centric restaurant that exists because they love to take special care of and feed others! The menu is thoughtful and the dishes are always well-prepared. Not super expensive either. Definitely stop by for breakfast or lunch - especially in the coming months (very family friendly or perfect for two)!!! Pastores is a special place, indeed!

We absolutely love this place! Not only is the food so good, the atmosphere and service is excellent. Our usual waitresses , TJ and Maria are a big reason we have made this our regular weekend brunch spot. They make you feel like you are family when you are they. I cannot recommend going there enough!

Amazing food and very friendly staff. I liked it because they feature a lot of authentic dishes from Mexico you can’t find in other places. Also, the owner is deeply knowledgeable about the food and history behind the food in Mexico, which helps elevate the experience and shows up in the quality. Highly recommend the Chilaquiles.

I love this restaurant and the food is incredibly delicious and fair priced. My only complaint is they still use styrofoam for takeaway. As a fan, I would love to see them make a switch to less toxic and flimsy takeaway containers.

One of our favorite brunch restaurants in Lincoln Square. The food is always great but the service is outstanding. Every person there is friendly and kind. Definitely with a stop of you've never been.
