Outstanding NY style slices, this coming from a NY transplant. Sausage and giardiniera pizza is perfect. Huge slice and a can of Old Style for $10, what’s not to love?

Paulie Gee’s in Chicago serves some of the best pizza in the city! Their wood-fired pies have the perfect balance of crispy, chewy crust with incredible toppings. The Hellboy, with its spicy honey drizzle, is a must-try! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff is always friendly and attentive. Whether you’re a classic pizza lover or enjoy unique flavors, this place never disappoints. A true gem for pizza lovers! Also the zaddy or whatever it’s called is great

Hot guy making pizzas, I heard he created the healthier option, and papa Al's beef
There's another one but I can't remember it. Shout out to hot guys who make pizza <3
This place cancelled my online order minutes before it was scheduled to be delivered, with no explanation as to why. I had made the order 24 hours in advance. Will not be going here again.

Great spot next to L to get a few slices. I came in late and didn’t have many options left. Luckily got a few slice and they let me sit inside. Will be back.
Slices are pretty expensive and the slices I received were fairly dried out/crunchy. Also, on top of the high slice prices, an apparently mandatory service fee of ~15% was added to my bill. Mediocre value for the money.

Great pizza! Was pleasantly surprised about the quality of pizza. A bit spendy for a lunch stop but loved the flavor and spice of the pizza!

Had a slice of cheese pizza just to see if it was as good as New York. Must say, the slice was better than Joe’s in manhattan. Great pizza and service was friendly. Would definitely come here all the time if I lived in Chicago.

I’m disappointed with this place. I dropped by for a slice and it was really pretty dry and overcooked. The restaurant also added on a “service fee”, which amounted to a 15% tip at checkout, after which they asked for an additional tip.
That’s really deceptive and not being honest about pricing. $6.20 for a slice of pizza is a lot, and far off from what I expected from the menu. If they had simply baked the fee into prices, or made it apparent on the menu/before checkout, I would’ve been completely fine with it.
It’s really a bummer too, because I was planning on coming back to order one of their Detroit style pizzas, but I don’t think that will be happening now. I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but I feel like I’m giving this restaurant a fair shake.
