Good coffee! I normally don’t drink coffee since the accident, but decided to try this place because it was so cold outside I was having problems walking. The cappuccino was amazing. I put 4 sugars in and was rocking! The restrooms are clean, just ask for the secret code (it’s 1234…just kidding). Anyway, great place.

Peet’s Coffee offers delicious, bold brews with consistently rich flavor. Their drinks are crafted well, and the cozy atmosphere makes it a great spot to relax. Friendly staff and tasty pastries, too!

Comfortable environment, nice music and coffee. It would be event better if the foam of my latter was creamier. Delicious sandwiches. They use different bread for different sandwiches. Simple yet so yummy. My muffin was heated. Love it. Wish my name will be spelled correctly next time. 😜

Thank you, Shay, for your pleasant and cheerful presence while taking orders. The line was out the door on Sunday morning, but you kept your composure and delivered 'joy' to your customers. Our specialty coffees were tasty as well.

Just wanted to say the girl working the front register this morning around 11 was an absolute ray of sunshine. I didn’t catch her name but she had dark hair and I think she was wearing a floral bandana? I work at a coffee shop so I know how hard it can be in a customer facing position but she had such a genuine smile and truly had a kind brief conversation with every customer which is really great to see. Keep doing what you’re doing and making people’s day!?

First of all, I was unaware that Peet’s had a physical location in Chicago. I’ve always purchased their coffee at target. In my opinion, Peet’s coffee is much better than Starbucks. It’s smooth and they have sugar free options. I was impressed

Yesterday, August 21, during the DNC in Chicago, I stopped at Peet’s to get a coffee latte. The line was short, and the attendant was very friendly. The latte was excellent and did not take much time to be ready. I also ordered a ham and Swiss sandwich, but the bread was slightly toasted on one side and not toasted on the other. I thought about coming inside and asking the friendly cashier to redo it, but I did not want to miss my spot outside in the fresh breeze. So I ate it half-cooked and returned for a pastry; all were gone. The friendly male with long blue nails said, “Everything sold out.” Well, it happens in Chicago.
I do recommend that Peet’s on 8th Street be on the lookout for aggressive parking tickets in Chicago.

Parking: You can park on the from for 15 minutes with flashlights on.

I recently took my son to Metallica and honestly just needed a cup of coffe for the way home after a long night. I had heard of Peet’s and had their coffee at home but had never been to one of their Cafes. I was greeted with a big smile and warm hello. I went with my go to, a large Carmel Macchiato. To my pleasant surprise It was good, really good. Better than the ones I get at the big shop I won’t name. I also got to have a nice conversation with the manager because I was so consumed in my delicious coffee (and cookie) that I forget our souvenir bag with all our concert merch inside. Long story short, Quinton was able to not only find our bag but ship it back to us in Ohio. If your in the area then do yourself a favor and visit Quinton and his crew for a great cup and clean, friendly atmosphere. Thanks again Quinton, the world could use more people like you in it!
